Es hat alles gepasst. Das Personal ist so zuvorkommend, es bleiben keine Wünsche offen.

Cons:

Wie hätten uns eher eine ebene Dusche statt der Badewanne gewünscht.

Very nice hotel but beware the closing times
Pros:

I’d give it 5 stars except for the fact that I dropped my luggage off in the morning, planning to return after dinner to check in. Well after 5 you need your room key to get into the property and after 10pm you have to be let in by the parent hotel a few blocks away. I get that this is cheaper than having a 24/7 person on duty but I didn’t even have a room key so I couldn’t even get in to see the notice about the sister property. A bit odd but once you are aware of the procedures it’s a very nice hotel.

Pros:

Die nach historischem Vorbild restaurierten Fenster waren sehr schön.

Cons:

Die faktische Namensgleichheit mit dem Bülow Palais (5 Sterne) führte dazu, dass mein Sekretariat aus Versehen die Bülow Residence ( 4 Sterne) reservierte. Beide Hotels bezeichnen sich als "Schwesterhotels", haben wohl die gleichen Betreiber und liegen nur etwa 100 m voneinander entfernt. Es sollte eindeutig bei der Bestellung darauf hingewiesen werden oder die Hotelnamen sollten geändert werden.
Nachts funktionierte der Chip für die Außentür nicht. Die Rezeption war nicht besetzt. Nur Dank des Portiers im Schwesterhotel, welches ich ja nun kannte, konnte ich in mein Zimmer gelangen. Das ist mir weltweit noch nie passiert. Auf Nachfrage am Folgetag wurde die Fehlfunktion bestätigt und sich entschuldigt. Das war mir zu billig für diese Preisklasse.
Insgesamt sind die Zimmer zwar gut strukturiert aber ein wenig abgewohnt.

Ich wollte gar nicht mehr abreisen!
Pros:

Das Haus verspricht, was die Einrichtung hält. Sehr geschmackvoll und klassisch. Ein echtes Grand Hotel, zum Glück fernab modischer Verirrungen. Der Service des Personals ist vorbildlich! Es könnte alles nicht besser sein.

Cons:

Die Matratze des Bettes war sehr weich, das hat mein Rücken nicht so gut vertragen. Das ist aber absolute Geschmackssache und nicht wirklich eine Kritik.
