Convenient stay slightly let down by low staffing numbers.
Pros:

Good facility spoilt be low staffing and overcrowded breakfast room.

Cons:

The staff numbers were inadequate for the number of guests ,. In addition the breakfast facility was inadequate to meet the number wanting cooked breakfast . One single toaster was far too short to avoid long waits . The delay in serving the breakfasts was long because all the demand came at a similar time,.

Old-school comfort. Central location.
Pros:

Great location in the middle of the high street. Lots of character. Simple, clean, comfortable rooms. Ample breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Strong WiFi.

Cons:

The TV in the room didn’t work.

Pros:

Nicely refurbished rooms in a lovely old building. Very friendly staff and owners. Also does good food and real ales. Lampeter itself is a lively place and a good base for the area too.

Cons:

Only minor things you always get in old buildings, like low shower pressure. Everythjng clean everything worked.

Chill weekend away to visit a friend. In a beautiful area
Pros:

I had read a lot of bad reviews and was very nervous about staying. However as the hotel is under new management as well as a new chef. I didn’t have anything to worry about. Staff were very attentive. Food was excellent and room was clean and comfortable

Cons:

Car park can be busy but that’s expected

Great Stay
Pros:

Great breakfast, welcoming staff, dog friendly, great value for money. We ate dinner here twice and the meals were lovely and tasty with generous portions. New quay, Aberaeron and Aberystwyth within a short drive, New Quay was our favourite and we enjoyed the Devils Bridge waterfalls.

Cons:

My partner didn't have enough custard with his pudding and he did tell the waiting staff afterwards who said they would have got him more so he should have asked!
