Pros:

It was no-frills but very clean, comfortable and good value. Just what I was looking for and I would certainly stay there again.

Pleasant, comfortable room with great staff.
Pros:

Bed was very comfortable. I usually have trouble sleeping somewhere strange but totally crashed out here. Staff in bar were amazing, especially Nick who was very friendly and helpful. Good communication from the property and easy checking in and out. Good location for new Romney high street. Drinks were a reasonable price and plenty of options. Didn’t have breakfast but it smelt amazing. Property was very clean. Room it self was very big and nice big window to get a breeze in this hot weather.

Cons:

Room was a bit tatty. Wallpaper peeling and shower was quite weak and someone needs to invest in a spirit level as everything that had been put up was wonky. TV at night only had one channel but come the morning had 6 channels that were watchable.

Great location, easy check in & check out
Pros:

Hotel is in very good location, easy check in & check out.
My room was small(ish) but cosy. I always go for higher floor as less noise from streets/people. Of course here&there wear&tear/stains (on walls) but nothing major.
Bathroom is big, shower has a good strong pressure.

Walking to New Romney pebble beach in 15mins. ( btw sea temperature much warmer!!! in May than usual 12'C -13'C ) And to Greatstone sandy beach under 30mins. All easy and save walk.
Coop store within 1 minute.
This hotel has a pub too so you will not be starving :)

I would recomnend this family run hotel - even with cheeky pigeons stealing biscuits... :D

Tip for you: Pls, do check low&high tides for New Romney beach&Greatstone beach in advance for your stay...if you plan to swim - both tide ways have their own beauty ;)

Good value for money
Pros:

Wonderful location. Directly opposite Romney Hythe & Dymchurch railway. Staff seem friendly. Room a good size. Bed comfortable and plenty of storage if required. Lots of tea and coffee making accesories and toiletries a nice touch. Looks like new windows installed recently too.

Cons:

The check in process seems a bit haphazard. We had quite a few texts from Dino who we assume is the owner but didn't meet him and also booking com The bar gets quite loud on a Saturday night but then you expect that if you stay at a pub. It is very much for locals but that wasn't a problem

Pros:

Room was clean and comfortable. Location was right across from the narrow guage steam train and close to a grocery store and more restaurants

Cons:

Pub and restaurant owned by someone other than the room manager. All communication was done electronically.
