A stunning hotel with a beautiful view. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Great if you are in a couple and looking for a few days of rest, outside the business of Fira and Oia. Wanted to relax for a few days and got exactly that. Special shoutout to Stella. We haven’t felt that warmth from a hotel staff in a really long time. She was amazing and really shaped our experience there. We had some problems and she really took them serious to help improve our stay. The breakfast view was also another highlight of the hotel.
Despite Stella being an exceptional staff member of the hotel, it is unfortunately overshadowed by some of the other staff present on site. There were several occasions where we felt uncomfortable. For example, during breakfast we were denied service and the staff that denied us proceeded to blame us instead of helping us with what we needed as customers. From this point onwards, it was quite an uncomfortable atmosphere around them for the entirety of the stay. We were also experiencing some problems with the room and felt that we weren’t taken seriously from the beginning. Only after an extra sign of dissatisfaction, we were actually catered to (which we really appreciate as we got an upgrade!). Lastly, the food could be better.

Nos encantó toda nuestra estancia allí. Está en un lugar de calma, que se agradece tras volver del mogollón de hoteles pegados y sin intimidad del centro de Oía. Esta muy cerquita en coche y tener sitio para aparcar en el propio hotel se agradece también.
Todo el personal fue maravilloso, súper atento y resolutivo con algún problema que tuvimos con la aerolínea.
La habitación comodisima y súper limpia, con todo lo necesario.
El desayuno a elegir de carta + el buffet que tienen de 10.
Sin duda si algún día volvemos a Santorini, repetiremos y lo recomendamos a nuestros allegados aquí en España.

Petit déjeuner à volonté, c’était parfait.
L’emplacement était aussi très bien avec une belle vue.
La piscine privé était très belle et propre mais l’eau était froide.
La chambre était top et propre.
The room was wonderful- it had a sea view, there was a bottle of wine to welcome, a hot tub, beautiful amenities, bathrobes, etc- in other words a very high end stay which I thoroughly enjoyed. I used the hot-tub once and it was lovely- it was on the balcony and you could watch the stars and gaze over the sea and it was very, very private. I can imagine that it would be ideal for honeymooners. The fact that was breakfast was included and the price was reasonable made it a very enjoyable stay. I would stay here again, just in a different room,
Room 15 had electricity poles and wire transmitters running right overhead. In a lot of countries you would not be able to build that close to them. I lay on the bed, savoring the beautiful room and after 30 min I felt I was quivering from inside my body. As an environmental specialist for over 25yrs I am always aware of electro-magnetic waves and in fact sometimes measure them with my instruments which I didn't have. I moved to the sofa and immediately the quivering (a kind of jumping in my skin) stopped. I have had that reaction before to high EMF. I asked to change the room but none was available so spent the nights (2) on the Sofa and that was fine but not preferable. The breakfast was good but not excellent, the service was very good, the location nice except while it says it is in OIA, it is really quite aways from the main areas in OIA overlooking the caldera--what you are looking at is the Aegean Sea-- I had no problems with that but you will need a car to get to the main places (8 min away drive) and thankfully I had rented a car. I would stay there again but a) with a car and b) a different room

Our stay at Danae Suites was truly unforgettable. We absolutely loved our Superior Suite — spacious, full of natural light, and beautifully designed with Cycladic charm and modern comfort. The natural materials, soft curves, and serene color palette created a calm, romantic atmosphere. The private hot tub and thoughtful amenities made it feel luxurious yet relaxed, and waking up to those dreamy views of the Aegean was pure magic.
The location was perfect — just a short walk from Oia, yet tucked away in the peaceful village of Finikia. It offered the ideal balance between accessibility and tranquility. We left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and already dreaming of returning.
The staff were exceptional — warm, kind, and always eager to help with anything we needed, from local recommendations to private transfers and car rentals. A big thank-you to Christian, Theodora, and Vasiliki for making our stay so special!
