Das Frühstück ist immer toll und sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Die Auswahl ist wunderbar und in einer sehr guten Qualität.
Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein und das Angebot mit dem eigenen Parkplatz perfekt.

An historic and original hotel with style
Pros:

Featured in the movie, Funeral in Berlin, Hotel Zoo has been given an original style with a striking dining room and bar areas. Although in a lively shopping area, it was calm and quiet. The rooms are clean, well designed and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff make this an idea hotel for visiting Berlin.

Pros:

Großartiges Hotel mit super Atmosphäre und perfekter Lage. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet, das Frühstück ist hervorragend und der Drink auf der Rooftop Bar war der krönende Höhepunkt. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, sicher nicht unser letzter im Hotel Berlin ZOO.

Hotel am Kurfürstendamm
Pros:

Ich war das 2. Mal in diesem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück ist super, wobei das Personal stark unterbesetzt war. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt für einen Berlin Trip. Die Betten sind bequem und die Klimaanlage funktioniert super.

Cons:

Der Fahrstuhl der in die Rooftop Bar führt - auf die wir uns sehr gefreut hatten - wird leider wie ein Hochsicherheitstrakt von 3-4 Türstehern überwacht. Einer von diesen hat sich so sehr daran gestört, dass ich zu meinem Kleid bei 35 Grad Abends schwarze Ledersandalen (laut Türsteher Flipflops) statt 12 cm heels anhatte, dass er uns den Zutritt verweigert hat mit den Worten: "Als Hotelgast haben Sie doch bestimmt noch andere Schuhe mit." Wir waren wirklich fassungslos. So ein Aufstand wird nicht mal in Monaco gemacht. Wenn ich für 2 Nächte ca 560 € zahle, erwarte ich uneingeschränkten Zutritt in alle Bereiche des Hotels! Unsere Outfits waren absolut angemessen, wir sind häufiger in Luxus Hotels auf der ganzen Welt zu Gast und wissen wie man sich zu kleiden hat. Vielleicht schulen Sie Ihr "Sicherheitspersonal" diesbezüglich nochmal. Mich hat außerdem sehr gewundert, dass wir überhaupt nicht von der Rezeption zwischendurch gefragt worden sind, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Gegrüßt wird man auch nicht wirklich wenn man dort vorbeigeht. Ich kenne es außerdem so, dass einem beim Check in mit dem Gepäck geholfen und das Zimmer gezeigt wird. Man sollte eher auf sowas achten, wenn man sich unbedingt als gehoben präsentieren möchte und nicht auf die Absatzhöhe der Damen.

Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel mit Abstrichen beim Service.
Pros:

Tolles Hotel, perfekte Lage, außergewöhnliche Ausstattung und ein sehr gutes Frühstücksangebot. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Cons:

Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt betrifft die Dachterrasse. Diese wird offenbar von einem anderen Betreiber geführt und ist nur über einen der beiden Hotelaufzüge erreichbar. Am Abend wird der Aufzug von zwei Sicherheitsmitarbeitern kontrolliert. Leider wurden wir von ihnen sehr unfreundlich angesprochen, obwohl wir gar nicht auf die Dachterrasse wollten, sondern lediglich die hoteleigene Bar besuchen wollten. Diese Situation war unnötig und hat unseren ansonsten sehr positiven Eindruck des Hotels deutlich getrübt.
