Pros:

Wir waren schon in vielen wirklich guten Hotels, vom Waldorf Astoria bis zum Taschenbergpalais, das Zoo Hotel war aber vor allem im Bereich Service und Freundlichkeit unübertroffen. Das Frühstück ist sehr sehr gut. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert.

Dieser Aufenthalt war für mich die schlimmste Hotelerfahrung, die ich je gemacht habe.!!!
Pros:

Ich hatte während meines Aufenthalts Bettwanzen in meinem Zimmer. Die zahlreichen Bisse an meinem Körper wurden später von meinem Arzt bestätigt.

Besonders erschreckend war für mich der Umgang des Hotelmanagements mit der Situation. Obwohl meine Bissspuren deutlich sichtbar waren und vom Hotelmanagement gesehen wurden, hatte ich den Eindruck, dass der Vorfall heruntergespielt wurde, anstatt ihn ernsthaft zu behandeln.

Zwei Tage vor meiner geplanten Abreise musste ich deshalb spät abends das Zimmer verlassen. Das als Ersatz angebotene Zimmer wies ebenfalls Anzeichen auf, die mich vermuten ließen, dass auch dort Bettwanzen vorhanden waren. Unter diesen Umständen konnte ich mich dort nicht mehr sicher fühlen.

Ich habe das Hotel um eine Rückerstattung meines Aufenthalts als angemessene Entschädigung gebeten. Auf diese Forderung ist man jedoch nicht eingegangen.

Diese Erfahrung war für mich äußerst belastend. Eigentlich möchte ich mich mit diesem Vorfall gar nicht länger beschäftigen, sondern ihn so schnell wie möglich vergessen, damit ich künftig wieder unbesorgt in Hotels übernachten kann. Trotzdem halte ich es für wichtig, diese Bewertung zu schreiben, um andere Gäste über meine Erfahrungen zu informieren. Jeder sollte selbst entscheiden können, ob er dieses Risiko eingehen möchte.

A Flawless Decade at Hotel Zoo Berlin
Pros:

I have been coming to Hotel Zoo for more than 10 years, and it remains my absolute favorite place to stay in Berlin. The location is perfect, the interior design is stunning, and the vibe is unmatched. The restaurant and bar are fantastic, and their rooftop terrace in the summer is a brilliant bonus.
What keeps me returning year after year is the exceptional service. The entire staff is always super friendly and incredibly accommodating—in over a decade of stays, I have never had a single bad experience.
A special shoutout goes to Jonas at reception, who always goes above and beyond to be super helpful and provide stellar service. If you are looking for a flawless, high-quality stay in Berlin, this is it!
