Average could be better
Cons:

Solid DT Portland hotel
Pros:

Clean/comfortable room. Great place for families or just anyone looking for a low key place to stay. Plenty places to just hang out. Free games and sports equipment to borrow. Free smores at night.

Kind of away from the bars and louder parts of DT Portland, but still within walking distance.

I normally park off site to save money, and because a lot of hotels use off site parking lots anyway. This time I just used the hotel parking which is actually underneath the hotel and fully secured. It actually ended up being a good decision. Was really nice to be able to go straight up to the room after a long trip the first night and a long day of hiking the second night.

Good location and clean room but rude staff: stay somewhere else where you are treated with kidness and dignity
Pros:

I liked the area, they had activities planned for the evenings, and the room was clean

Cons:

The staff's attitude. Overall the staff would treat you as an inconvenience. As contructive criticism, how they treat customers should be addressed my management. It is not how you say things but how you say them. They did a super fast check in as if they didnt want to deal with us. You would say hello and they will ignore you and just ask what you wanted. I could understand if they were swamped woth work but they were not when we were at the lobby. One night we let know the front desk that we ordered some food through Uber Eats since we know that they close the doors. The lady looked at us, made a face and started moving her head side to side while saying "okay..." It made us feel why we were stupid just by making them aware that an Uber Driver would be coming to the property. This is just a tiny example. Other example is how they talk badly about other customers in between them while you are just standing there.... trust me, i could go on and on...
When this constructive criticism was brought at the end of the stay, one staff said that she was surprised of the treatment because all the staff was super nice. Other staff (i believe her name was Rayna or something like that) intervines and actually was empathetic with us instead of brushing us to the side. Overall, with how much i have traveled around the world and the states, i believe this is the worse treatment that i have ever gotten from front desk staff. Again, it is not what you say but how you say it.

Great staff, clean spaces, good value for money, safe location.
Pros:

The staff were absolutely amazing no matter what time of day - I arrived late and had a lot of early mornings. The communal areas and my bedroom were very clean. The area felt safe, the additional things like board games, outside areas, access to 24/7 gym/swim, etc., were really good, and overall I would certainly stay again. Thanks!

Cons:

The button to ask for housekeeping must not have worked as I did not get my room cleaned once in my stay. I could have certainly come and asked the front desk - that's on me. The breakfast was slightly more limited than I had in mind but it was fine (bagels, eggs, yoghurt, cereal).

Declining reviews.
Pros:

This property ratings appears to be in decline, and the overall experience was disappointing. The staff attitude left much to be desired, and the hotel’s marketing around its amenities felt misleading.
Amenities are described as complimentary or included, yet guests are charged a mandatory amenities fee regardless of whether they use any of the services. I didn’t use the amenities—not even the s’mores—but was still required to pay the fee. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic because the advertised room rate initially appeared affordable.
However, once the mandatory amenities charges were added, the actual nightly cost increased by roughly 50%.

Fantastic stay, cool place.
Pros:

Cool vibes, great desk help, downtown near the river and other attractions, great outdoor sitting area, and a “game” room for adults and kids to be entertained.

Cons:

Needed a little maintenance. Restroom faucet was usable but broken and we could
Not make the room cooler with the thermostat, so don’t know if it needs maintenance or it is set so that a person cannot change the air temp. Also continental breakfast as ok
