Overall it was a great place and the staff, especially CeCe , were helpful.
Pros:

Location was perfect four our needs. I loved the shuffleboard table and the games.

Pros:

Staff was incredibly helpful, welcoming and beyond friendly the whole stay and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. The hotel was even nicer than I expected and very well located. Rooms are spacious and elevators are fast, this is the first hotel where I felt like I never had to wait for the elevator. I also like that they had garage parking for our car which made us feel more secure.

Cons:

The only thing that was not up to par was the water pressure in the shower, it was not the worst I’ve experienced but it could be better. Would still stay at this hotel again without hesitation.

It was a metoker hotel. I liked the pillows the best.

I liked the bed and pillows. The hotel looked cute.

Cons:

I didn’t like that the hotel advertised having a gym and it doesn’t. You have to walk a couple blocks to 24 Hour Fitness. The heat didn’t work. It appeared they only had air conditioning. I was pretty cold. The food didn’t look appetizing. I didn’t want to eat their breakfast. The staff in the kitchen wasn’t nice to me. I’m suppose to return to Portland in August. I will not stay at Zags. I got an Airbnb instead.

We were hopeful and excited, but left disappointed and unlikely to return.
Pros:

The room was fine. Clean with a comfortable bed, towels, and a strong shower.

Cons:

Check in staff was not friendly. The advertised EV chargers were mostly inoperable (3 of 4 out of order).

Good, not great
Pros:

The staff were truly helpful - our initial room had an odd smell and they were so friendly in helping us find a new room.

The location is great if you're going to a show at the Keller Auditorium or wanting to visit PSU. They also offer a parking garage, which is great.

They have fun stuff to do, there's video games and s'mores and bikes to rent.

Cons:

The hotel needs some TLC and the rooms were in need of a thorough cleaning. Our first room had an odd smell (we could tell the previous guest's scent lingered), and our second room had makeup stains in the walls (really), the bathroom smelt of plumbing, and there was an empty box of wine in our closet. Also, the bathroom door was incredibly difficult to open and close. The carpets were dingy. Just in need of some deep cleaning.
