The location

Cons:

Beds are not very comfortable, nor are the pillows. The TV image was terrible and we could hear people in the next room. Also, the hotel and Booking.com advertised the shuttle service from 4 am, which is why we booked the room there, but we ended up walking to the airport as the first shuttle service is at 4:45 am.

Great handicap room
Pros:

Central location. Handicap room was spacious and very nicely equipped for a handicapped person. Best one ever!

Cons:

The breakfast foods were lukewarm or even cold. The “fried egg” tasted like it had just come out of the refrigerator. Tasted okay, would have been good if hot. The oatmeal was lukewarm but tasted okay.

Scam
Pros:

Do not use for park and fly!!!! Use caution on park and fly package. It is a scam and your vehicle will be towed. We booked the park and fly. Called Wingate and booked. Did everything the hotel told us to do. Assured us there would be no issue. Arrived back from our trip to a $550 tow bill. After talking with the tow company we were made aware that they do not have the rights to offer this package. It is actually booked with another company. Front desk was rude and not helpful in the least. Same lady waited on us at check in and when we returned. As soon as she saw us her words were “Oh S***, I’m not dealing with this tonight” and only pointed us to a number. She left the counter and would not speak to us further. She knew the car had been towed on their watch. We had no choice but to pay the bill to get our vehicle. It was after midnight by this point. I would advise anyone not to use this company period. Extremely poor customer service and scam.

Asheville stop over.
Pros:

Good location near the airport, restaurants and Interstate I26 on the outskirts of Asheville. Nice clean rooms and quiet. NO PETS. Nice hot breakfast in the lobby. We’ve stayed here many times as we pass thru Asheville.

Great place, close to airport
Pros:

The hotel room was clean, comfortable, the a/c worked very well. It was very close to the airport and offered a shuttle to and from the airport. We were very pleased with this hotel.

Cons:

The bed was a little hard, could use a pillow top or something to help with that.
