Good hotel very close to the train station
Pros:

The location right next to the train station was very convenient since I was traveling by train and also did excursions by train to surrounding places. It is also close to the city center by foot. The room was small but comfortable and quiet, with air conditioning, good bathroom and comfortable bed.

Cons:

I asked for a room away from the street, and got a very quiet room. But the view was not so nice, over a construction site and an emergency staircase. I preferred it quiet so this was a minor problem.

Frühstück auf Baustelle, Zimmer winzig, zum Bett an einer Seite fast unmöglich zu erreichen
Cons:

Zimmer sehr klein und angeblich konnte zimmerkategorie nicht in einzelzimmer umgebucht werden, weil ursprünglich Doppelzimmer gebucht war. Das Zimmer war so klein, dass es bestimmt auch als Einzelzimmer nicht mehr kleiner hätte sein können. Baustelle im Restaurant dort auch nur camping Stühle und sehr eng, angeblich war Renovierung ja abgeschlossen. Preis für diese Leistung viel zu teuer.

Ich wusste, dass das Frühstück im Zimmer sein wird, aber leider war die Bestellung nicht vollständig gebracht worden.

War ein sehr schöner Kurzurlaub. Leipzig ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.
Pros:

Die Lage ist gut, man kann die Stadt fußläufig erreichen, benötigt kein Auto und auch keine öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Frühstückt lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Wird auch alles sofort wieder aufgefüllt.

Cons:

Zimmer zur Vorderseite sind sehr laut, die Straßenbahn rumpelt ununterbrochen auch in der Nacht. Fenster geöffnet zu lassen geht gar nicht. Selbst mit geschlossenen Fenster ist der Lärmpegel noch sehr hoch.

Gut für einen Kurztrip
Pros:

Super direkte Lage an der Westseite des Hauptbahnhofes. Trotz noch laufender Renovierung waren wir nicht gestört, aber es war ja auch Wochenende.

Cons:

Eine Katastrophe war die neue Badtür aus Glas, denn diese ließ sich kaum bewegen, nur mit viel Kraft und unter Lärm bewegte sie sich, letztlich fiel ein Teil aus der Führungsschiene. Eine Reparatur war trotz Meldung nicht möglich, ein angedachter Zimmerwechsel wurde uns nicht kommuniziert, erst auf Anmerkung beim Auschecken hin wurde uns das mitgeteilt. Schade, wegen jeder Kleinigkeit bekommt man sonst ständig E-Mails.

Summa summarum: sehr empfehlenswert, besonders für Bahnreisende
Pros:

Frühstück bis 1/2 11(11) Uhr

Cons:

Die Duschtür ist zu breit, wenn man in der Dusche steht ist die Gefahr, dass man mit dem Fuß beim Öffnen dagegen kommt, groß.
In der Bar am Abend sollte es etwas zu essen gben: z.B. Erdnüsse, Chips, Kekese . . .

Avoid staying here
Pros:

Close to train station (but there is many other hotels in the area).

Cons:

Is under construction and no email was sent to inform me about it (entrance, lobby, phone line and air conditioning in one of the room). Extremely rude check in staff who told me that as a guest, I should appreciate what he is offering and if I am having a problem we could take it outside.
