Quieter room from road traffic and usb phone charging
all of the fabulous restaurants and food available close by
was nothing to not like about this place
Just love the staff and location
Nothing
Pleasant & efficient staff, super-comfy bed, great breakfast spread, everything clean and friendly and helpful. Great river view from our level. They offered us an upgrade and we took it :)
Early morning road traffic noise (which can’t be helped as it’s a main road).
Great location, really friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Clean, comfy and room reasonably priced.
Found the cafe and restaurant quite overpriced, and variety in buffet not the best we have had. But definitely not the worst either. Would definitely stay here again.
The room was very spacious and easily fit our family of 4. The check in process was easy and it was very easy to walk to local areas for food and drinks. The hotel is lovely.
It is on a busy road but that did not bother us at all even on level 2.
Location to Andrew’s Parking
The hotel itself is pleasant enough, but my recent stay left me unimpressed with a couple of policy changes that feel like a step backwards for a property at this price point.
The most notable gripe: room service now attracts a $5 tray charge on top of the already-marked-up food and beverage prices. That kind of surcharge is exactly what budget motels do — not what you expect from a hotel positioning itself as a quality Brisbane stay. If I’m paying a premium for in-room dining, the delivery of it should simply be part of the service.
Making this worse is the absence of a mini bar. There’s nothing in the room — not even the basics — so if you want a cold drink or a snack without leaving the room, you’re ordering through room service. Which means that $5 tray charge is essentially unavoidable for any in-room refreshment at all. It feels like a deliberate design: remove the self-serve option, then charge you for the only alternative.
It’s a small thing in isolation, but it signals a shift toward squeezing guests on the margins rather than focusing on experience. I’d encourage management to reconsider — either reinstate a mini bar or drop the tray charge. Don’t do neither.
Room was great
All good
Great view, good gym and pool, helpful staff.
The first night I was in a room next to the lift and it was a bit noisy. I was moved to another room the next day.
Absolutely gorgeous inside
Only thing they needed was a makeup mirror in the bathroom
Room met every requirment of short overnight stay, close to airport, good bar and restaurant and pleasnt river view from the room. I was extremely happy with personal service and attention to booking early morning taxi with staff on hand at 2am!
Location, secure carpark, good reception staff
