The location and price
Adjoining room was yelling and kids crying all hours of night
Stayed here for one night after a concert because we wanted to also check out the outlet stores the following day. The place seems to have been recently remodeled and our room was clean and adequate.
The bathroom was clean, but poor caulking techniques made the newish shower stall look dirty. Also the toilet fixture was much older , and so the inconsistency made things appear worse than they were.
The front office staff were fine. Breakfast at properties of this tier is the standard stale selection of some bread and cereal and a coffee machine. We don't expect much in that department, and our low expectations were not exceeded.
We live a couple of hours from here and visit the area once or twice a year. There are a lot of hotels if this type here and they are all pretty much disappointing. This is actually one of the better ones we have stayed in. But we were staying only a night and had no desire to cough up $250- 350 a night for a simple Towneplace Suites in Hershey or Lancaster.
Very nice. The staff is exceptional. Very friendly and helpful
The location is absolutely ideal. Its right between lancaster and the amish country, so you get the best of both worlds. It had a fresh redesigned interior that helped it look cleaner and kept. The price was phenomenal, other places were asking for 3x the price because it was father’s day weekend. I went with my hispanic mom and grandma who are extreme germaphobes and even they gave their thumbs up approval of this place. The complimentary breakfast was simple but got the job done, coffee bagels cereal yogurt and fruit. The beds were comfortable and the rooms had good ac, fridge, and iron and i think a microwave which was pretty cool. We really enjoyed our weekend getaway and would 10/10 recommend to others. Check in was super fancy, we got a link and filled stuff out online like you do for flights. That alone gave me high hopes that this would be a 5 star experience and im so glad we weren’t disappointed. Thank you Days Inn!
I have no complaints about the property.
Location is great for this area.
Although it was clean, it was a little old feeling but beds were comfortable.
The only REAL complaint was the noise from the ac in our room and directly outside in the hall.
It sounded like a spaceship trying to take off and land. We just considered it white noise for sleeping
Nothing
Nothing
The staff was very friendly and it was quiet no drama
The location was convenient. Shopping and food nearby.
The rooms floor was filthy and the edges of the shower were filthy as well.
The beds were hard as a rock and pillows were flat. You can hear everything from neighboring rooms.
Car parked next to window had their car alarm going off with the lights shinning in our window. When I looked out the window I could barely see the type for car because the windows were filthy. We went to the desk to ask staff to find the owner and he said he didn't know who owned the car. I reminded him that we are supposed to repot our vehicle information upon check in.
Also, upon check in, I had to pay an additional $75 deposit that wouldn't be returned for 5 to 7 business days. This was not mentioned upon booking with booking.com.
Cold and nonexistent breakfast compared to most of your hotels. Wyndham has always been top shelf and this was a run down dirty place,
I had to go ask for towels and was handed 2 skimpy towels no bath mat or facecloth. The staff knew nothing about the area had no idea what was around or which direction to go for anything. This was a bottom of the barrel Best Western that we do not stay at and will look at Windham in a much different light. I have never minded paying for your rooms even though you run a bit more than some but I have always appreciated your cleanliness, services and staff. I left there feeling ripped off and overpaying. We did not even get into the bed covers for fear of what was living in them. Unfortunately there was not another room to be had at any hotel for many miles and we had just driven in from a long trip up the coast from Florida. COMPLETELY HORRIFIED!
Read above. It was the worst hotel experience we have ever had.
Good location
Clean property
TV is a problem. 2 remote controls but could only get 1 channel. Watched TV on my phone.
The price was reasonable and there was no bugs.
The floor in the room was dirty, the fridge could not be opened unless lifter up, the microwave turntable did not move, the breakfast was scarce and my room card kept not working.
No tea for those of us who don’t drink coffee
we didn't eat their. it was nice and quiet. the handie cap shower was wonderful.
Cute hotel, clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Great location, close to Sight & Sound Theatre, Amish home tours, restaurants and shopping.
