Next room to me was playing loud music till Kate but I eventually fell asleep
Excellent location to the areas that I needed to visit.
The room and bed were very comfortable. The view from my room on the 6th floor was wonderful. The meals that I had were first class.

Location in relation to the event at the Wayville Showgrounds
Television didn't work and there was no information in the room as to how to contact reception by phone. I had to make an external call to get assistance. Breakfast was far too expensive and I've never come across a car parking charge before.
I noticed small areas in the bathroom where grouting had fallen out of the joints thus providing an opportunity for dirt and grease to accumulate.
Ease of checking in with luggage. The restaurant was perfect for our evening meal after a long day of driving.
The guest info in the room could not be accessed and phone to reception proved to be tricky.
Minimal light in bathroom while showering.
The bed was comfortable and the staff were lovely.
The bath was dirty when we arrived, with hairs still in it, gross! There was also a tiny step into the bathroom that I stubbed my toe on multiple times. The food was terrible at the restaurant - so bland. And the buffet breakfast included was sub par, with a coffee machine that clearly needed a clean. We came for a little break after our wedding and had high expectations of the Rydges name, and with the price we paid - we were very disappointed.
The staff were exceptional. Any issues were dealt with promptly and politely.

Rooms
I have never slept in such a comfortable bed - not even at home! The staff and facilities are excellent.
We were upgraded to a suite which gave us more space. The hotel was close to the railway station for the Ghan and the Overland, which was the main reason we chose it. Lovely location surrounded by parkland. Lovely hot spa. Comfortable bed and a great updated bathroom .
We aren’t sure what was causing a loud thumping sound that reverberated through the room around 9 to 10 o’clock. There was a function downstairs and aren’t sure if it was related. No soundproofing through the room door so we could hear everything in the hallway. Not particularly close to food venues other than its own bar and restaurant and a pub around the corner.
