Hyatt Place Greenville/Haywood

The breakfast was great, location, staff and parking also great. The fact that it was located near the mall and seconds from the highway 👍🏾. Downtown Greenville 14mins away.

The hotel is in a great location,the breakfast bar was one of the best,and the rooms were Very clean,and the staff was very professional.

Very comfortable and clean. Andre’ checked us in and was very courteous and professional. He recommended locally owned places to eat.

Great stay! Excellent choice for our stay for the Thomas Rhett concert at Bon Secour Wellness Arena. We were at the venue in less than 10 minutes (straight shot) and drove right into the parking garage. WONDERFUL TIME and relaxing room after. 10 out of 10!

Almost everything was fine. I was a guest for only one night. I checked in really late at night, and the only rooms remaining were wheelchair accessible. Because the room was wheelchair accessible, the floor was not carpeted. My feet were not dirty/dusty when I checked in. When walking around the room, my feet picked up a LOT of dust. When I got in the shower the next morning, a lot of dust washed off my feet. I saw gray water as the dust from the hotel room floor was washed off. I'm an Explorist level World of Hyatt rewards member, so I stay in Hyatt hotels often, and it was the first time I experienced such dust from a Hyatt. I even emailed the Operations Manager James Bartle, but he did not reply to my email. The stay was OK, but I don't want other guests to experience such a high level of dust on the floor.

Unfortunately, this wasn't a positive experience. When we got to the room, the door wouldn't lock. The receptionist confirmed it wouldn't lock but stated the silver latch on the top that moves to bar the door worked. I explained that this would not stop an intruder from coming in and would like a new room. He told me there were no other rooms. I let him know that we would not be staying in this room with 2 children and that this was unsafe. He then went to see if he had anything available. He called to say he had another room. We gathered our belongings to make the trek downstairs to the next room. We got on the elevator, the doors closed, and we didn't move. We were stuck. The buttons wouldn't light up and the door remained closed. The doors opened up after a minute or so on the same floor we initially were on and I noticed clear tape on the sensors of the elevator. We took the stairs to get to our next room. Inside that room, I was glad to see the lock was secure, but the bathroom lights were very dim and the faucet spigot in the bath/shower was loose and falling off. I was very shocked at the condition this hotel was in and the lack of maintenance they perform on it.

This hotel is in a great location being close to eateries, the local mall and a short drive to downtown Greenville. Once we arrived, the front desk hosts were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel is terribly dated and in need of a revamp. The rooms, while large and bright, were a little dank-smelling with stained carpeting, fogged windows and the bathrooms were so oddly configured, you have to shimmy between the door and toilet to get to the shower. The elevators were extremely slow and in very poor condition with one not operating at all. The breakfast was…interesting but, on the bright side, there was always water available. Booking our family reunion event/rooms was no short of a fiasco for several months and no one seemed to have a solid idea of how to book rooms under a block. Whoever Peyton and Deangelo were supposed to be in the process, they completely abandoned us. Overall, a disappointing experience.
