Gutes Stadthotel
Pros:

Gutes Hotel mit grossen Zimmern und sehr grossen und bequemen Betten. Es steht eine Nespresso Kaffeemaschine zur Verfügung.

Cons:

Das Badezimmer ist klein und hat eine kleine (niedrige) Badewanne. Das Frühstück gibt es à la Carte, die Eier Benedict waren leider nur mittelmässig.

A period special place on a good location
Pros:

The hotel has beautiful original features, stunning entrance and real friendly humans to check in- the decor has been retained and is so refreshing to experience. Our room was huge, lots of space and so clean. Water and fridge with tea and coffee making facilities in the room .
Good location for exploring downtown Halifax.
A nice place to stay.

Nothing all good.

Pros:

Staff are friendly, bed was comfortable, loved the outside seating area on the porch as you enter the hotel

Cons:

The hotel feels a little tired - needs a facelift. The bathroom- the toilet ran, and there was no exhaust fan.

Great location opposite the public gardens, friendly and helpful staff,, spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

Very small kitchenette, just a coffee machine, fridge, kettle and sink. The hotel did however provide plates cutlery and a microwave on request.

Very nice, clean, and centrally located with a nice staff.
Pros:

It was close to almost everything and we were able to walk everywhere. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Honestly, the food in the restaurant. The prices were pretty much in line with what we’d seen out, but I ordered the Cornish hen and it was so dry I could barely eat what little I was able to get down. And the mashed potatoes were awful, they had lemon in them. The waitress was very nice and helpful and brought me a different type of potato so I didn’t want to complain about the meat as well. But, I paid a lot of money for something that wasn’t worth it.

We enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel and especially the lobby, and the location was great.
Pros:

The location was really great for our visit!

Cons:

The screws were loose on the shower tap, the bathtub stopper was disconnected so it couldn't work, and the toilet seat was loose and wiggly.
