great location. expensive, but so is everything in Vail
$50 per night valet parking unless you want to park in the common parking lot a few blocks away
Location and the front desk staff
Maintenance of the room is very bad
Great comfortable beds
Really good location off the interstate and right in the middle of Vail
Restaurant really good food and helpful staff made it a real experience.
Great small touches like complimentary jelly beans, shower caps
Great hot tub
Loved the Swiss style resort feel.
The pool was quite dirty the day we were there and the water was cloudy and lots of things on the bottom. It was looking better the day we left so we might have been unlucky.
Air conditioning unit was broken so there was a noisy temporary machine in the room.
Great location, friendly staff, loved my room . Nice balcony with view of the mountain.
The air conditioning in the room did not work and I reserved that room for that reason. Thankfully it cooled off at night.
Great location in town and up against the mountain. Well appointed rooms. Friendly staff.
Location was excellent and the accommodations were great. The fitness room was a good size
Location, staff, sort of the space
It’s a Murphy bed and that wasn’t fully clear. The bed was comfy enough but it wasn’t set up when we got there. Also, the AC was incorrectly installed and it was above 90 degrees in the room when we got there. A helpful hotel worker fixed it, but if I’m paying for Vail, even in the off season, I expect better.
Lovely lodge and, in particular, we loved the pool and hot tub. Reception and all staff were very helpful and friendly.
1. We discovered the carpet was soaked in our first room 254, so promptly had to move to another room 256. 2. It had AC and an overhead fan, so should have been quite comfortable for sleeping. However, the comforter on the bed was thick enough for arctic temps and even the combination of AC set to 60 degrees (the lowest possible) and the overhead fan on high left both of us way too hot to sleep. There was no lightweight blanket alternative, so it was a very poor night of sleep. 3. The two chairs sitting at the corner table were far too big for the table and the room, as it was small with a king size bed in it. 4. There were no USB charge ports anywhere in the room and no convenient electrical outlets for charging, either.
Right at Vail village. No need to get in a car
Everything
Nothing to not like !!
Laid at the pool and drank matcha all day, it was my favorite day in Vail.
Everyone that works at The Lodge was so sweet and helpful our whole stay.
