I live locally and I booked a room in a last minute Crisis that involved a plumbing situation in my home on a Friday night (I will spare the gory details but essentially EVERY toilet was not usable)… thankfully that had accommodations and were able to get us in… rooms are very basic. No glass ware… I also had to make a makeshift dog bowl for water out of the ice bucket with the plastic bag (cos there is a crack at the bottom of the bucket)…. Because I needed two beds (my teen age son, out service dog and I), they said they only had a couple premium King rooms, which I was totally fine with. Upon check in, the receptionist at the front desk boasted on about the far corner rooms are the best rooms, spatially I guess cos yes they are very spacious. However… our room is right next to the freeway so it’s 3:52am and the traffic has not stopped… also, I tried to get Netflix on my laptop (cos I am trying to limit the light in our room cos my son is trying to sleep and the TV is way to bright)… so I call the front desk to ask why I can’t stream any platforms… he said cos the owners don’t want to put routers in… I think it’s a massive disservice to the hotel, the company and the community that these “owners” not sure if it’s a corporation or what-have-you… but it’s these details that LACKin Hospitality that will kill any business… especially when it’s to the Local clientele… I have family that travel in and out of here and I just moved to the neighborhood, and I was really hoping this hotel would be a nice option to offer my family when they come to visit.. it’s in great walking distance to amazing amenities and the Farmers market on Saturday… but if a hotel is not willing to attend to the finer details (as they say, the Devil is in the Details), then it’s the death of what could be a great opportunity. I hope the owner/corporation changes their tune… The front facing staff is lovely and apologetic and very kind and accommodating… it’s a shame that they have to do all the work to make up for the lack of management and ownership… they are doing all the best they can do with what they are dealing with… massive bummer :(

The location and price was reasonable.
There was old food left in the fridge from the previous guest which made me uncomfortable. Paying for parking seemed unreasonable.
Location was good. Room was spacious and comfy.
I used to frequent this hotel when it was first remodeled. It was very nice and the pool area with cabanas/covered seating was one of my favorite amenities. This time around, it seems the hotel is not kept up as well. The TV wasn’t working when we arrived but they did send someone to repair it fairly quickly. Much to my surprise, no pool. Not sure if it was being repaired or removed. It would have been nice if the front desk informed us of this when we checked in.

The location was great close to stores
The price was to high for what you received, the bed was feeling like it was going to fall apart, the room had ants the sink needed to be unplugged. Parking was being charged daily just more fees to worry about.

When I entered the room, I was shocked to find two spiders inside. I will attach photographs as evidence. Unfortunately, I was extremely tired after my journey and was not in a position to report the issue to the hotel management that evening.
The following morning, I attempted to take a shower, but the water pressure was so weak that it was impossible to shower properly. To make matters worse, the water was also cold.
Overall, this was a very disappointing and unpleasant experience. Considering the condition of the room and the lack of basic facilities, I do not believe the amount I paid represents fair value, and I am genuinely dissatisfied with my stay. I would appreciate it if you could review my complaint and consider providing appropriate compensation or a refund.

The parking is ridiculous, $15 per night & no place to park unless you're there early.
This place smells like a petting zoo, place is pretty run down, hate to leave a bad review but this place needs to get cleaned up for sure

Практически все, санузлы в плохом состоянии, несколько раз «забывали убраться в номере» , очень плохая уборка, не пылесосил пока не попросишь, запах травки в коридоре, около бассейна беспорядок, грязные лежаки, конечно же это далеко не 4 звезды.
The location was clean and neat, It was close to everything, Malibu was a short 25 minute drive.
