We had a big room that was clean and comfortable. It was in the back of the hotel and very quiet. The hotel offers free parking and a basic breakfast. Excellent value considering the close location to the beach, a 5-minute walk. And you can also walk to downtown Encinitas in about 20 minutes. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location, friendly staff.
Slight odor from the toilet, plus water was out for 3 hours due to city working on the lines. Not the hotel's fault but it would have been nice to know ahead of time.

Our A/C unit wasn’t the best - room got very muggy
PERFECT LOCATION! walking distance to the Beach. The property was clean and especially the Room. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Dogs can stay and are allowed here : / I am not a pet person and I do not believe pets should be staying in the Rooms.

Bathroom cabinet too big for the bathroom. The toilet paper was at your ribs when on the toilet.

I felt safe even with the window partially opened at night because it had the option of a bar that prevented the window from being opened further than necessary for fresh ocean air. Neat and clean. So convenient to beach. Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Breakfast was very adequate even though it was not a hot breakfast (except for toast). All first quality items - orange juice, yogurt and fresh pastries.
There was nothing I did not like. However, I had a room directly off the parking lot and across the street from the local train station. It was not an issue for me, but if it would be a problem for you, ask for rooms 103 - 108 and you will not be on the front side of the building. I don't know if there is an elevator, but if not, if you have a handicap issue, ask for 1st floor room.
