Outstanding stay – highly recommended
Our stay at the Sheraton Lake Como was absolutely wonderful. The room was impeccable, comfortable, spacious and beautifully maintained, with every detail meeting the standards you would expect from a hotel of this category.
The breakfast was incredible, with an excellent variety and quality of products. The location was also perfect for exploring Lake Como and the surrounding area.
But what truly made the difference was the exceptional service. Every member of the staff was warm, professional, attentive and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.
Everything worked perfectly from beginning to end. One of the best hotel experiences of our trip to Italy, and a hotel we would happily return to and recommend without hesitation.
Good breakfast
Utterly underwhelming for the price. Room overlooked an enclosed garden. Had to book a time to go into the spa. Reception staff were very average.
This hotel was surprisingly a 5 star experience! As my husband is an elite titanium Bonvoy member, we have stayed at many Marriotts/Sheratons over the years. This is one of the ones in the top ten of its class. From the reception, to the roomy and comfortable accommodations, to the view of the mountains, to the huge outdoor pool space, to the very nice bathrooms (shower is what should be in all hotels IMO), to the wonderful selection of food at the breakfast buffet, I couldn't recommend it more highly. It's only a very easy 7 min ferry ride to Como - no need for Ubers or taxis if you go during ferry operating hours. We were able to purchase tickets on the spot at the piers each way during high season, so no need to plan ahead. I would absolutely return!
Sheraton Lake Como is conveniently located next to a large supermarket in Cernobbio (GranMercato). A taxi ride to downtown will take about 10 minutes. The property has a bar and three restaurants. The rooms itself are fine and have the essentials such as a hair dryer and steamer. Though some parts could use some updating/refurbishing. I want to commend the front desk and reservation team for being very attentive and responsive leading up to and during our stay. I was in constant contact with the reservation team prior to my arrival for questions about my stay (Marco, Efgan, Iris). Upon arrival, Valerio was very accommodating in ensuring a smooth check-in process and quick to inform us when our room was ready. Naoko helped us to arrange private transport to and from an event we had to attend. She also got us a new room in a matter of minutes due to a booking error on my part.
An amazing property if a little tired but clean and well set out with great food options. It's in a good location with exceptional spa. It was a good stay but we would stay somewhere else for the money next time as its quite expensive considering other beautiful options available on the Lake !

Cozy vibes, beautiful garden, delicious food, and an amazing breakfast!
No lake view from any room or outside point, unfortunately.
It's also quite a distance to walk to any attractions in Como or Cernobbio.

We had a bad experience with a lady at the front desk. This older lady was extremely rude and loud. When we checked in, we missed one of our bags that were brought up by the porters so we went back to the lobby to check if it may have been left behind by mistake and asked the lady if she saw anything but she replied in a very rude way and didn't even offer to ask the porters, although she was not busy at the time. During our check out, we unfortunately were served by the same lady who was about to charge us for a room service we already paid for with cash. When discussed she was aggressive and rude and did not apologize for her mistake. I tried to inquire about the city tax and other things on the bill and instead of explaining she said this is a system and it doesn't make mistakes. She made our check in and check out very miserable!
However, to be fair the other front desk employees were very kind and helpful with requesting transport and giving us guidance. But one person mistreating you (not only once) spoils everything.
