Spacious, comfortable and location
Nothing, but we found the mattress was too soft. We stayed for one night so didn’t hurt much. For longer stay, it will be hard for people don’t like very soft mattress
Great location
Nothing

Overpriced for a Novotel, additional cost of parking
The room. We asked for a low level room with a view, we got a low level room with a view.
Reception described it as a Super room, we agreed. It was better and larger than we thought. A seperate sleeping space from the lounge and dining area. We had two sleeping zones and we spotted whales from our view. Very clean.
The hotel: We loved the upgrade to the lobby bar, called North. It's a lovely space to spend some time.
Well...no hotel is perfect.
The lighting could be better for the meal area. There was a tall light stand that had a snapped bulb. Wouldn't be a problem but the room lacked enough ceiling lights to read a book. Perfect if reading on the comfy bed.
Also, the cleanliness of the North bar was a let down. Menus and table tops were sticky and unclean, this is not at all expected for a Monday afternoon. It's a turn off and we went offsite for a meal instead.
The room was lovely and spacious, beds super soft and comfortable and the shower had amazing pressure. A highlight was definitely the delicious buffet breakfast!
My only feedback would be that as I had booked for my twin teenagers (14 & 14) and myself, we were put in a wing of the hotel with all the kids. It got quite noisy in the hallways. Would have preferred not to be in the "kids wing" in future with teenagers who like a sleep in.
Recent separation from my husband it was a great getaway that we could afford for a night for me and my 2 teenage kids.
Not sure how it could be better. It was great. Not sure if it could be possible to have sliding doors to enclose the pool when windy, the pool was great but we picked a very windy day to stay. Not much you can do about the weather. Otherwise it was fantastic
The location is great. Across road from beach and lovely walk to break wall. Pepe’s downstairs was a nice easy dinner. Kids loved the breakfast buffet with Nutella pancakes
Our room smelt a bit musty and there was only regular television in room.
Paid $525 a night for 1 room not peak season either
Breakfast inc would’ve been nice.
Great location
Parking spot down in basement wasn’t big enough ceilings too low for most cars
Location, front desk, house keeping staff and breakfast buffet.
Parking charges are way too high and TV is ancient. If you want to relax and enjoy some TV in the room, forget about it, it is painful to operate the remote control and even if you'd get it changed, it would be same as TV itself is prehistoric. Seems small but with kids it was important for us to have a functioning reasonably advanced TV.
Room is perfect for a family of four.
There was a day the bathroom was not properly cleaned.
