Wednesday evenings are particularly busy in our bar due to the local student night. As a result guests staying in rooms above the bar may experience increased noise during the evening up until 10:30pm. We recommend that guests who are sensitive to noise take this into consideration when booking.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Hard to find initially by car as the small car park is down a narrow street but had no problem with parking. Breakfast was very comprehensive for Continental breakfast and we ordered a cooked breakfast before departing home. It was good. Had dinner one night and it was good. There are a lot of extras such as sweets and apples, water you can help yourself too from reception and this is on top of hot drink facilities in the room.
Although we managed the stairs it could be an issue for some but this is an old building with no lifts.
The pub and hotel itself was all good.

Not a place my wife would stay at but as I was on my own it met the needs I had
The property was clean and well managed, room was enough for what we needed, clean and fresh, bed comfortable and clean, hair drier and iron board kettle all in the room shower with hose head and rain fall head for options plenty storage and windows were able to be opened up for to let air in. Noise level was up due to uni week but it was all closed down by 23:30 each night. Really good stay breakfast was good, cereals, fruit, toast, or a muffin snack, teas and coffee orange and apple juices all in our price we paid. We currently had somewhere booked when we arrived on mon afternoon but the hotel we stayed was awful this was booked on the tue and won’t look back which a difference. The young girls in the desk who allowed us to get food ordered at reception to avoid the noise and crowds at the bar was too standard very friendly nothing was too much for them. Unfortunately I didn’t catch the girls name but I appreciate everything.

They did not service your room,attal 3 nights no toilet paper no clean bedding,they demanded 50 deposit for rooms which they did not like giving it back,but they did.

This was my second visit. The hotel is clean and tidy with a decent size car park on the edge of Newcastle and very easy to find - there are signs to Osborne Road Hotels as you come off the main roads. The staff are very friendly and there is a nice DIY breakfast included in the cost. Room 111 has a big telly! It can be a bit noisy as this is quite a student area, but a room round the back is quiet even at busy times.
Nothing really - just that it can be noisy if you are at the front.
