Pros:

Great location with parking ,wonderful staff and free breakfast
It's an old hotel in need of upgrading but that's reflected in price.

Comfy stay, great location, clean but needs to up security
Pros:

Location is perfectly placed between both Jesmond metro and West Jesmond metro stop so it doesn’t matter which one you get off at. Great location, near to loads of restaurants and bars and they’re building a new Waitrose express shop a little up from the hotel. Bed was super comfy, clean rooms, bathroom lovely and clean

Cons:

Security doesn’t seem to be a thing here. I was surprised that pub guests can go through the door up to the rooms to go to the toilets. Anybody could go upstairs to access the rooms. Also my room key was wiped whilst I was out because I put my key next to my phone so it got wiped. When I asked reception to re-programme my key, they didn’t even ask my name to verify I was the person staying in that room. I could have asked for any room! 🙈 So yes, security needs to be stepped up there, but apart from that it was a comfortable stay for the price.

Great location but it’s cheap to get a taxi to the city centre and stay in a nicer place. Very lovely staff though!
Pros:

Nothing, it was really run down and for the price it’s better to stay at a premier in

Cons:

It was shabby and cheap, it was clean though although you wouldn’t want to be in the room outside having to sleep there

Pros:

Comfy beds

Cons:

Tired looking rooms, could do with redecoration and new curtains etc. Holes that are in the doors have been filled in but need sanding down as they are still visible.

Pros:

Polite staff, good value. Does what it says on the tin - I knew that the hotel was a little "tired" when I booked, so I wasn't disappointed. The bar was certainly much more lively (good) than those attached to the big chains!

Cons:

Very awkward access to the bathroom, limited space to wash and shave
