Good location, both Jesmond and West Jesmond a twelve minute walk away.
Room (Tile missing in ceiling/drawer missing in chest of drawers, bathroom full dirty - turned a white sock grey instantly!), corridor, bar all grim and in desperate need of modernising. Bought a pint of Amstel in the bar, which was undrinkable, tasted like the lines hadn't been cleaned properly. Breakfast was minimal and bland
The property is run down, mould everywhere, dirty, staff was argumentative when asked for a refund as we couldn’t stay in the hotel, still waiting for our refund and our breakage deposit back

It's an old building. It's a bit steep, and you feel like you're falling down..
Poor breakfast experience. The coffee machine was in the reception lobby, while the rest was at the bar. Lack of variety in the food selection.
