Fantastic location & wonderful staff, but the cleanliness & maintenance were very disappointing.
Pros:

We were excited to stay here again as we had a really pleasant experience when we visited back in January 2023. The location is honestly hard to beat. Green Square Station is right downstairs with quick and easy access to Sydney CBD and the airport. Having Metro Woolworths, McDonald’s, KFC, Taco Bell and plenty of great cafés and restaurants all within the building or just a few minutes’ walk made our stay very convenient. The staff were also lovely and helpful throughout our stay.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the apartment itself was a big disappointment this time around. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and the bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a very long time. There was visible mould, significant dirt build-up and a stale smell throughout the apartment. The ensuite bathroom sink was also clogged and drained very slowly.

We constantly kept the air conditioning running and the windows open to keep fresh air circulating, and even bought Glen 20. The stale, musty smell wasn’t limited to our room either, as it was noticeable in the lifts and hallways. I am not a particularly picky person when it comes to accommodation, but I genuinely didn’t feel comfortable using the shower without wearing thongs. Had we not been travelling with three children during a period of wet weather, we would have seriously considered finding alternative accommodation.

Pros:

It was an amazing building, very comfortable and a nice swimming pool area. The location is perfect for public transport links, interesting newly developed area called Green Square, green spaces and lots of eateries around.

Extremely disappointing experience at One Global Resorts Green Square.

This property presents itself as a “5-star resort,” however our experience was nowhere near that standard.

We were placed in TWO separate rooms and both had visible mould, damp/musty odours, and poor bathroom hygiene conditions. After complaining about the first room, we were relocated only to find the same issues again in the second room. For a stay costing over $700, this was completely unacceptable.

What made the situation worse was the dismissive and unapologetic attitude when the issues were raised. Photo evidence was provided and Booking.com became involved, yet responsibility continued to be avoided while only a small Travel Credit was offered.

Future guests should be aware that this was our experience at a property claiming to offer “5-star” accommodation.

Great location, great room, would recommend.
Pros:

Great location, we had reservations about Green Square's location given no Australians we spoke to had heard of it. Everything was great, tonnes of food, shopping and leisure options. The room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for our week long stay.

Cons:

Our air con and extractor fans weren't working when we checked in. A member of staff came up immediately when we reported it, they tried to say our air con was on slightly so it was working but gave us a fan as it definitely was still too warm in the room. By the 3rd day they'd had an engineer in and the air con was fixed, the extractor fan wasn't but to be honest it wasn't a dealbreaker.

Great for business or leisure, good location, clean, spacious and well equipped. Will stay again.
Pros:

Very well equipped rooms, comfortable, clean and spacious. It's nice to have a whole studio rather than simply a hotel room, and the location just by the underground and availability of Lime bikes nearby was great.

Cons:

I thought the pool was going to be bigger so I could do laps. Minor gripe, otherwise will stay there again!
