Everything was good

Very nice- with a gorgeous view of the beach. Within walking distance of restaurants, ice cream shops, shopping, and night life. The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms at Ocean Park Lodge were very nice, with gorgeous views of the beach. The beach is just steps away. The property has its own parking. The location was awesome- 20 minutes from the airport. Less than a half hour to several attractions: whale watching, the historic Del Coronado Hotel, San Diego Zoo, the shops in La Jolla. Our 11 year old granddaughter loved it too!

Great stay. Clean. Friendly staff. Complementary breakfast is okay. Perfect location. Bag drop off at check in check out is huge.

Great location, close to the beach and to great restaurants and bars. Room had a great view of the beach and pool. The room was clean and the free breakfast was good.

Great location, right on the boardwalk, facing the ocean. Strongly recommend a second or third floor room, and join Opi rewards for extra savings on longer stays. Clean room and nice bathroom with king bed and small frig. Pat, at the front desk, provided excellent Restaurantrecommendations. There is a nice grocery store, Icalled Ralph’s, right across the street. Also, ironically, a nice front desk worker, named Ralph. Secure underground parking garage and small deck, facing the ocean were greatly appreciated. Breakfast was carb-heavy, but, “hotel eggs”, turkey sausage, bacon, cream cheese, milk, coffee and cream were available.

Upon arrival at the hotel I received a very friendly welcome and check-in was smooth and efficient. Secure underground parking at USD 35 a night was also great. The hotel is located right on the beach, in a busy area with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The room was light and well appointed, offering a view of the pool and the beach and ocean.

The location was absolutely perfect, close walking distance to everything. Jonathan was helpful for the entirety of our stay! The discounts for local spots that you get for staying there was amazing.

We stayed here about 20 years ago and came back this year. The hotel was always good but we were pleasantly surprised that it has really stepped up its game since then! And still a reasonable price for the perfect location! Great service from the staff who came to feel like family over our weeklong stay. Tim at the bellhop stand and Jon at the front desk were especially welcoming. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean and the hotel offers extras like pool and beach toys, beach towels, free newspapers and a free hot breakfast every day. Also very convenient that cocktails are available to purchase at front desk. And having a security guard in the lobby at night and a front desk that is staffed 24/7 added to the sense of safety. We will definitely be back!

It’s an incredible location. The beach is amazing, and the sunsets are beautiful. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby as well. Pacific Beach has always had a younger vibe, but this hotel would be good for any age group, including elderly people.

Our room was very clean and spacious with a stunning ocean view. The front desk staff were so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

From start to finish our stay was phenomenal! From location, to staff, to accommodations, to views, we loved it all! John was especially helpful!

This local treasure has it ALL if you value beach front sunset views, too many fun spots for food drink and a staff that always has a smile!
We were there for 10th Anniversary and Emily, Jonathon and Vanessa made our week just perfection. They truly love their guests and even serve a delicious smoothie mago slush that was the Bomb after a warm walk in the sand 50 steps away.
Our 3rd floor balcony was sooooo nice with waves and sea air just a slide of the door away. The eclectic people along the boardwalk made for a strolling miles each way perfect each morning and eve. Such good food too...hit World Famous Monday for amazing seafood deals.. ask for Louis... floor manager.
Finally the warm pool and tub right on the beach were great for a BYOB any time of day. No glass please !
