Floors were dirty, holes in bathroom walls, bathroom vent was nasty.
I have stayed in many places, but Clarion Inn has topped them all for price, beautiful grounds, cleanliness, staff friendliness, and peaceful quiet.
I have absolutely no complaints about anything. It's very hard to find something that I don't like.
Very clean, quiet, and friendly staff
They overcharged and then double charged and said it wasn't their fault. Choice hotels said the only ones that we could talk to were the people at the hotel that placed the erroneous charges to begin with. Things are still not resolved and no one is returning calls.
Great deal - excellent price for the room. Would stay here again. It’s clean and has everything we need , including a microwave oven.
The room smelled like cigarettes. But it’s not their fault. Probably a prior guest smoked in the room and that type of smell lingers
Have stayed at this hotel through the years have never had issues ever. It’s always been a great price now here and there yes for example $212 when there’s tons of hotels nearby that are not sold out for one room the has two full beds is insane not to mention Marcy. The manager was outstanding but when you have a staff member that defies management makes your whole stay horrible and there was one particular girl that when she got on in the morning, she felt that she didn’t have to listen to owners. She didn’t have to listen to management and literally told my disabled husband that he was faking to some delivery man thinking my 13-year-old child didn’t hear her so it was truly disgusting how she treated not only customers this way, but to override your management staff makes it look like she can just do whatever she wants cause apparently she’s not getting reprimanded for it and from what I understood she had multiple complaints against her so why she’s still there beyond me because that will mess up your business really big
The biggest thing about the property was that you have an employee who thinks that she doesn’t have to listen to management and owners, which disgusted my whole day when you treat a blind disabled man like he’s garbage and a child witnesses it your faith in humanity, not only goes, but it’s poor manners. If you don’t like your job find a new one, but that right there when a company keeps an individual like that. That makes me never wanna come back again because that means you’re trumping that disgusting employee with no manners no education whatsoever to know how to properly work in a professional atmosphere does not make me want to spend my money there again and I assure you I have no problem letting everybody I know no and I know a lot of business owners in Pinellas County
Beautiful property love the upgrades very clean
Don’t like employees that are unruly that feel they can disrespect their owners and management team. Also, my other thing is his housekeepers if somebody ask you a question of meeting a name of an employee because you wanna leave a review so the management and company knows what’s going on with their business. You need to teach your housekeeping staff don’t pretend that you don’t know English just cause you’re scared to answer a simple question of a name when you’re in a professional atmosphere and you were asking question of somebody’s name so you can let higher management and the owners know what’s going on with their business don’t pretend to not know English and the unruly staff member that treats disabled people reprimanding when you’re literally dealing with somebody who’s blind and in a wheelchair is it’s beyond that point and if you’ve had that many complaints from what I understood she’s had multiple complaints. Not sure why she’s still there. You don’t treat people like that and expect I mean. Trust me word gets around really fast.

Staff was friendly and good location
When I inspected the beds the sheets were clean but upon lifting up the mattress a bit I found plastic forks and a binder under the mattress. The items seem to have been there for a long time. My shower head was leaking from where it connects with the water pipe.
Great breakfast, staff was friendly and attentive. It wasn't too busy. Nice pool, hot tub and small pool for the kiddos!
Rooms were clean and smelled good.
