Quiet location handy for Landenburg & Maimarktgelande
Pros:

Excellent breakfast. Location was good, easy walk into Ladenburg which is a beautiful place to spend time. Handy for travelling to Maimarktgelande, just 14 mins away by car. Dogs welcome. Nice area outside to eat &/or drink & where dogs were welcome. All the staff were very welcoming & helpful. Small supermarket next door & a very good bakery at the top of the road.

Cons:

Disappointed that the bar was not open at all on a Sunday, seemed strange for a hotel. At the end of a 4 day event at Maimarktgelande it would have been nice to celebrate as a team our achievements.

Pros:

Die Lage ist für einen Besuch von Heidelberg und Mannheim ideal. Man kann alles mit Bus und Bahn erreichen und hat keine Parkplatzprobleme.
Für uns waren due Betten super, prima geschlafen und ohne Rückenschmerzen aufgestanden.
Frühstücksbüfett war sehr lecker und vielfältig.

Da können wir nichts beitragen.

Pros:

Freundlicher und unkomplizierter Check-in, eine ansprechend gestaltete Lobby, durchweg freundliches Personal sowie ein angenehm klimatisiertes Zimmer. Positiv hervorzuheben sind außerdem die kostenfreien Parkplätze direkt am Hotel. Die Lobby vermittelt einen sehr guten ersten Eindruck – dieser setzt sich jedoch in anderen Bereichen des Hotels leider nicht durchgängig fort.

Cons:

Das Zimmer entsprach für mich insgesamt nicht dem Standard, den ich von einem Leonardo Hotel erwartet hätte. Das Badezimmer war zwar grundsätzlich in Ordnung, ließ bei der Sauberkeit aber Luft nach oben. Auch die Gestaltung der Hotelflure wirkte eher funktional als einladend.

Das hoteleigene Restaurant konnte ebenfalls nicht überzeugen. Das Essen wirkte eher nach Convenience-Produkten als nach frisch zubereiteter Küche, war geschmacklich enttäuschend und angesichts der Preise kein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Ebenfalls unglücklich war die Situation rund um die Hotelbar: Auf der Website wird für die Leo Lounge 21 mit einem täglichen Angebot geworben, tatsächlich war die Bar am Sonntag geschlossen. Ich wartete etwa 30 Minuten in der Lounge und erhielt die Information erst auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption. Auf mein anschließendes Feedback an das Hotel habe ich bis heute keine Antwort erhalten.

Besonders irritierend fand ich, dass ich nach meinem Aufenthalt mehrere ähnliche Bewertungen gelesen habe. Sowohl die Qualität des Restaurants als auch die Baröffnung bzw. die unklare Kommunikation hierzu wurden dort bereits mehrfach angesprochen. In den Antworten des Hotels wird regelmäßig Verständnis gezeigt und Besserung angekündigt. Als Gast hatte ich jedoch nicht den Eindruck, dass diese Kritikpunkte inzwischen nachhaltig aufgegriffen wurden.
