Nice Staff, Decent Breakfast
Pros:

The room is about what you’d expect from a Marriott. It was fairly basic but clean. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room facing the parking lot as the hotel faces the interstate on one side and, while not monstrously loud, it can be somewhat disruptive.

The amenities are ok, about average. The staff, Gio in particular, were very helpful in helping us and answering questions about the area.

This hotel is near a lot of food, fairly separate from the nearby mall, and a short drive to Falls Park

Good Fairfield Inn
Pros:

On the plus side, the hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and responsive to all questions. The challenging aspect of this hotel is finding the location after a long drive. It was hard to find in a maze of roads by a large mall. There were restaurants and lots of delivery options nearby. I think maybe the hotel could offer lots of directions in the email they send out reminding you of your reservation.

Pros:

The beds were fairly comfortable. My kids enjoyed the pool and the waffles and bacon at breakfast.

Cons:

The AC fan doesn’t blow very hard and even though the temp was 68 when we arrived, the room felt warm. We had a small fan with us and went out to buy an extension cord so we could set the fan in the window ledge in order to push the air into the room. The room was fairly expensive. In my opinion, $125-150 would have been a more appropriate price, not over $200.

It's... gross!!!
Pros:

Other than the young gentlemen named Geo at the front desk, who was very kind and professional and attentive, we found this hotel to be disgusting. When you first walk in you can smell the dog pee all around the grounds, wafting around outside the lobby entrance. The building itself is old, the carpeting is gross, the entire building has an awful stench, from the moment you enter from any door it smells, and the rooms have an intense smell. Everything in the building is dated and dirty, the floors, the walls, the bathrooms, the curtains, and the pool- gross. And the breakfast was... gross! The area to sit and eat breakfast was dirty and gross. And the hallways smell like wet cat food during breakfast hours!

We were on the second of three floors and had a heavy walker above us that we could hear through the ceiling. Was very annoying.
