Rezervisala sam boravak u hotelu Sheraton očekujući visok nivo usluge, posebno jer sam se prije dolaska direktno informisala putem bookinga. Pitala sam da li imaju bezglutenske opcije za doručak jer sam putovala sa sedmogodišnjim sestrićem koji je intolerantan na gluten i koji je u Istanbul došao zbog operacije. Iz hotela su me izričito uvjerili da gluten-free opcije postoje.
Međutim, doručak je bio potpuno razočaranje. Osim osoblja na recepciji koje je bilo ljubazno, niko od restoranskog osoblja nije govorio engleski jezik. Na naša pitanja su samo slegali ramenima i pravili se da ne razumiju. Kada su konačno pokušali da pomognu, djetetu su za doručak ponudili samo jedno parče hljeba i par slatkih keksića, što je apsolutno neprihvatljivo.
Da se nisam unaprijed informisala, razumjela bih, ali potvrditi da imate opcije, a zatim ponuditi samo keks i hljeb pokazuje nemar i nerazumijevanje nutritivnih potreba. Preporučujem svima koji imaju bilo kakve restrikcije u ishrani da dobro razmisle prije nego što izaberu ovaj hotel.

Beautiful view, but let down by the AC and location logistics"
Pros:

On the positive side, our sea-view room was absolutely beautiful, clean, and comfortable.
As for the amenities, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff members were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.

Cons:

The hotel is actually located near the Bakırköy Sahili station rather than the main Bakırköy hub. If you get off at Bakırköy, expect a 15-minute walk to reach the hotel. Additionally, getting to major attractions requires switching transit lines a few times, so the location wasn't ideal for me.

The AC was not working properly, keeping the room temperature above 25°C. Although the staff sent someone to check on it after a few requests, it became clear the unit simply needed to be replaced. Because of this AC issue, I wouldn't stay here again.

Furthermore, there were loud evening events nearby, and the noise made it very difficult to sleep. If you close the window would have been OK but as AC wasn’t working it was very difficult to sleep.

The hotel definitely requires some upgrades.
