Great Cairns getaway
Pros:

I like the rooms and the pool. I appreciate that they have a place to do your laundry.

Cons:

Sometimes the parties on the 3rd floor can get a bit noisy but it’s never prevented me from sleeping.

Not worth the amount i payed

Staff polite and helpful. Room clean and comfortable

Cons:

Ridiculous delay returning $100 'so called' deposit. Door to the swimming pool area very noisy during daylight hours near the room allocated. A/C extremely noisy just outside the room in corridor. Very noisy from the room above. Dont believe every room would encounter this, the one i had been allocated was. As a fifo worker, 87hrs minimum per week, four weeks straight.....would have been nice to have more than 6hrs sleep

Short stay made enjoyable, perfect for business.
Pros:

The room was well appointed and clean; location was central for business.
Staff was friendly and helpful making my stay enjoyable.

Cons:

The area was a little noisy through the night mainly load people in the street, no negative reflection on the hotel.

Hotel was centrally located and served as a base perfectly.
Pros:

Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean.
Rooms had great facilities with a microwave,crockery,cutlery and coffee making facilities.
Bar and restaurant staff were friendly and very helpful.

Cons:

I found the reception staff on arrival unfriendly and unhelpful.
I have to say it wasn't a great impression of the hotel or a great start to our stay.
I hadn't realised parking was limited so proved very difficult arriving with 3 vehicles and 2 elderly relatives with very limited mobility and offered no further help was disappointing.
