Excellent value for money.
Pros:

Location and price were excellent. Great atmosphere in the bar area and quiet in the bedroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine for the price. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.

Pros:

The room was a nice size. Very well presented and clean. Enough tea and coffee and more available at reception on request, Nice comfortable pub to have a pub style meal and comfortable seating. Pool table and darts as well as sport coverage on several TVs.

Cons:

The room was well presented but could do with a few little extras to make it perfect. On the ground floor, the windows have no net so the blind had to be down fully for privacy as cars parked directly outside the window. There was a lack of shelving and hanging hooks in the bathroom,

A very pleasant surprise
Pros:

At first glance the hotel looked tired and not particularly inviting .
The room was surprisingly large, clean and comfortable. The meals were all well prepared and presented and priced very competitively.
