Not my usual stay at a baymont at all. Room was dark, damp and smelled. Had to wash stuff we didn't even wear when I got home to get the smell out of clothes

Cons:

Outlet in bathroom did not work. My room smelled like cigarette smoke like it was coming through the walls. I could not sleep on Saturday night it was so bad. It was also a bit noisy.

staff incompetent and criminal
Pros:

I would strongly caution others when dealing with this location. After redeeming a stay through Wyndham Rewards, I was surprised to find charges applied to my account that I did not believe were authorized. When I contacted Wyndham Rewards, I was informed that this property is independently owned and operated.

My experience with the staff and management was extremely disappointing. I found customer service to be unhelpful, and my concerns regarding the charges were not addressed in a satisfactory manner. As a customer, I expected transparency, professionalism, and a clear explanation of any charges applied to my account.

I work hard for my money, and it is frustrating to spend significant time trying to resolve issues that should have been handled properly from the start. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location and would encourage others to carefully review their bills and account activity after their stay.

I hope ownership and management take customer concerns more seriously and improve their handling of billing disputes and customer service issues.

Vétuste, mal entretenu...
Pros:

Le personnel aimable, la proximité, le petit déjeuner très simple mais correct.

Cons:

La chambre est vétuste, voire en décrépitude totale.
La propreté était correcte, mais la poussière et les toiles d'araignées derrière la table de chevet, au niveau du chauffage et de la clim était dégoûtante. Le joint de la porte et de la clim laisse passer la lumière et les insectes.

Close to Cedar point.
Pros:

Love the location. Its close to cedar point. Pillows. Lol
Breakfast before the park. And a Mexican restaurant in the same parking lot.

Cons:

Been there a few times .. months in between and our TV didn't work. Both times We had to go back to the deck for help the tall man with dreads/ braids. Sry. Never got his name.. Helped. Us every time.
On our last visit the door. You had to have a good shoulder to open the door. I think its from the weather change the door was hard to open.

It was close to Cedar Point and other restaurants/stores.

Cons:

Our door was bent, it has clearly been kicked in before. The room did was it was supposed to, but it was nothing special. I would probably not stay here again.

The door to our room wouldn’t shut correctly so we felt unsafe. The stairwell to the top floor was infested with bugs. The manager was very rude. We asked for a refund as we had literally just arrived around 1140pm. The told my husband they would refund us then called us 12 mins later telling us they would still be charging for one night stay even though we never even took our things into the room. We checked in I checked the room and then we went straight to the front desk within a 5 min period. This was a horrible experience and will not be using them in the future.

location and Continental breakfast was great! Bed was comfy.

Cons:

TV did not work, staff would not switch our room, we had kids with us! Bathroom was dirty and worn, holes in walls, etc.... could have been worse but could have been much better!

It was very close to Cedar Point.

Cons:

One room was dirty so we got moved to a clean room which put us on the other side of the hotel from our friends. The other room had no air conditioning the first night and when we told them they said they couldn’t do anything about it and they wouldn’t give us a discount. It was insanely hot and so the next night we were going to go to a different hotel. They did end up fixing the air conditioning then but still didn’t give a discount.
