Where the location of the property was as it was very easy and accessible to the town
We were extremely disappointed with our stay. Having booked a double room, we were instead placed in a room with three beds that was in an appalling state of repair and cleanliness.
Severe hygiene & flooring issues: The carpet throughout the main room was heavily stained and dirty, while the bathroom floor was damaged with exposed mesh and severe wear. The bath/fixtures were dirty and unmaintained.
Maintenance & comfort: There was a large gap in the window frame allowing a cold draft inside, and the bathroom door was visibly peeling and damaged.
Poor customer service: When we brought these serious issues to reception, we were met with complete indifference—no room move was offered, and no apology was given. Given the price paid, this was completely unacceptable.
Massive room and nice decor, great location. Really enjoyed thr stay with my friends.
Receptionist made an admin fee error at check in and then they hounded me with calls and emails a few days later whilst I was at work. I was made to feel like it was my fault and that I was responsible for a staff member potentially getting in trouble.
The location was good, All the staff was lovely.
I honestly expected far more for the price we paid. From the outside and in the photos, the hotel looks luxurious, but unfortunately the reality felt much more budget than expected.
The breakfast was disappointing, and every morning there was a queue for coffee because there was only one coffee machine available.
We also repeatedly had problems with our key card, meaning we had to keep going back to reception to get it registered again. This was particularly frustrating as our room was on the 2nd floor and the lift was extremely slow, so it became a real inconvenience.
The bathroom was another disappointment. The floor had large chunks missing, which really took away from the overall appearance and certainly didn’t feel in keeping with a hotel that presents itself as luxury.
There were also very loud screeching noises coming from the pipes. Thankfully, after spending some time running and adjusting the taps, the noise eventually stopped, but it shouldn’t have been something we had to deal with in the first place.
Overall, the hotel looks much more luxurious than it actually feels. For the amount we paid, we expected a much higher standard and unfortunately felt it was very poor value for money.

Location was perfect..walking distance from train station, shopping centre, the cavern district and Albert dock. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice, from full English to continental. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the jacuzzi bath.

Vi har boet på hotellet før og været meget tilfreds, da vi boede 5 mand. Denne gang boede vi 3 mand. Dobbeltseng oven på, 2 på repos nedenunder.
De 2 på repos, var mærkeligt. Ingen sofa/lounge område, dvs at os 3 kunne ikke sidde sammen, andet end på repos oven på de 2 sovepladser. Der var ellers plads nok i rummet.
Vi var der 3 overnatninger. Ingen rengøring. Vi spurgte på rengøring og på at få skiftet håndklæder på dag 2. Det fik vi ikke. Vi måtte selv hente håndklæder i reception, hente nye kopper og nyt kaffe. Til prisen, havde jeg forventet rengøring og skift af håndklæder min. 1 gang, på 3 dage.
