Het ontbijt en het eten in het hotel waren erg teleurstellend. Alles smaakte weinig vers en het aanbod was niet aantrekkelijk. Het fruit bij het ontbijt zag er bijvoorbeeld verlebberd uit, en mijn man is ziek geworden nadat hij yoghurt had gegeten.

Ook de prijzen voor de wasservice zijn buitensporig hoog: het hotel rekent 30 THB voor één paar sokken, terwijl je om de hoek voor slechts 40 THB een volledige kilo was kunt laten doen.

Wat ons echter het meest heeft teleurgesteld, was de houding van het personeel toen ik met mijn zieke zoon na een rit met de nachttrein aankwam. Hij had meer dan 40 graden koorts en voelde zich erg zwak. Hoewel er een kamer beschikbaar was, kregen we simpelweg te horen dat we moesten bijbetalen als we eerder gebruik wilden maken van de kamer. We hebben tijdens onze reis door Thailand nergens anders zo'n gebrek aan begrip en behulpzaamheid meegemaakt. Op alle andere plaatsen werden we juist erg gastvrij en behulpzaam ontvangen.

Daarom was dit hotel voor ons een grote teleurstelling.

Voor de tweede keer weer uitstekend als je een gezellig en makkelijk hotel zoek dat centraal ligt.
Pros:

Tweede keer in Samen Street hotel, en het beviel weer uitstekend.
Je zit in een vrij rustig gedeelte met genoeg restaurantjes en winkels maar je bent zo in het drukke gedeelte Khao San Road etc. Het zwembad is fijn en het Hotel is fijn zeker met kids.

Pros:

Zimmer sind sauber und von der Größe und Ausstattung wirklich gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist super (Omelett werden nach Wunsch frisch zubereitet, ...). Der Pool (mit Kinoleinwand) im Innenhof ist nach einem langen Tag in Bangkok ein Willkommener Abschluss. Wir wären zum zweiten Mal hier und würden das Hotel für unsere Bangkok Aufenthalte jederzeit wieder wählen.

Muy buena opción para turismo rápido
Pros:

Estás en el centro antiguo de Bangkok, a un paseo de las calles de ambiente, pero sin el bullicio. Tiene una piscina pequeña pero muy cómoda, y el personal es muy atento.

La cama es muy dura y la ducha no tiene agua caliente, es templada.
