Great location for getting in to London centre area feels safe

Cons:

I forgot my charger, a good phone charger and a good wire. I know for certain I left it plugged in the wall and was told that it isn't in the hotel. One of my main intentions was to charge my phone. I charged my phone and definitely forgot my charger in the morning. Phone the hotel in the evening and they said it isn't in the room. Just know if you leave anything at this hotel it's gone. Also my room smelt of cigarettes. No shower soap or hand soap.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff and clean room.

Room was clean, and had good facilities. Staff were very friendly.

Cons:

Small things like cracks in the bathroom floor and stains on the curtains. However I understand these are small things and you get what you pay for.

The room absolutely stunk of smelly feet/shoes.
Had to open window straight away and keep door open (actually door couldn't shut easily either). Room felt a bit grimey, glasses and cups were stained and dirty. Just poor housekeeping...

It was an okay stay, it was a convenient stay .

Cons:

Well the room was poorly maintained. Toilet didn’t flush very well the pillowcases and towels were in VERY poor condition! The bed was uncomfortable and squeaked. The bedside tables were falling apart .There was an ironing left board under the bed with no cover on it and no iron provided. There was no refrigerator in the room. There was an air-conditioner in the room but no remote. The amenities were very basic. It wouldn’t be somewhere I would stay again.

Enjoyable stay at Wanstead Hotel
Pros:

Perfectly location, great value for money. Staff very helpful and accommodated making room available earlier than check in time. Plenty of clean towels and hot water. Bed linen beautiful crisp and clean.

Cons:

I found no faults.
