Wanstead Hotel

Carpets had not been cleaned, toe/fingernail clippings found. After checking in while resting there was a very loud foul-mouthed altercation between people in a car and those outside which was to the extent, we considered calling the police as there may have been a breach of the peace. We decided to go out to be away from this unpleasant incident. (We were in a ground floor room, and the incident was directly outside on the driveway).

Too hot , no air con . Room in roof , no space to move .

The lady on the reception was extremely rude

Attic room I couldn’t stand at the toilet!

The lights constantly cut out
Curtains were disgusting
Shower had grime on the glass door
Invasion of privacy, putting our belongings we had on our sides or bed into our bags and zipping them up, sweet packets opened which we hadn’t eaten yet?!?!

The lady working there is lovely but the gentleman on the other hand was saying profound things and his language was atrocious to say i had my little sister with me on her first trip to London, she was scared as well as my girlfriend, trying to blame me for hacking into his phone, screaming down the street saying things like ‘ I’ll shove you full of my cum you hacker’

I did not stay at the hotel I took one look at the hotel and left. The room that I was offered was not fit for a dog. The bed was a dilapidated camp bed with grey torn sheets. The bathroom had thread bare towels large hole and crack in the basin The sheets cubicle was yellow the chrome was eling off the taps I would have taken pictures if it were not for the fact o was in a hurry to get out before I was bitten by something.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay. The beds were extremely noisy and squeaky, and the room was not clean at all. The walls were also in a very poor and dirty condition, which made the room feel rather unpleasant.

We were also told that parking was available, but in reality there were only around four parking spaces for the entire hotel. We were unable to park our car, as there simply weren’t enough spaces. This was very disappointing, especially as we had been told that parking was available when we booked.

The bathroom was extremely small and uncomfortable to use. It was so cramped that an average-sized person would struggle to use it comfortably.

Overall, we were very dissatisfied with our stay and would not recommend this hotel.

The room wasn’t cleaned well. There were coffee stains on the wall which we cleaned ourselves as it was so unsightly. There were stains on the radiator. The small towel to be used for keeping the shower area dry was full of holes. Strong smell of bleach in bathroom
