Very near to many good restaurants and 3 major combini. Just a few mins walk from Otsuka Station. The room is very comfortable and clean with a very nice bed & pillows. I had a very good sleep. It is a very small room but it is good for the price.
Room very small. No space to open the luggage.
Location
The room has a bad smell and I stayed 10 day the cleaners never change our glasses.
Located a 3 minute walk from the Yamanote Line which is pretty much the best line to get you around and about the city. Breakfasts were run with great efficiency which minimized queues that I've experienced in other APA hotels.
This was the hotel I was staying in during the earthquake which they handled well for those who maybe had never experienced such a thing.
I totally respect the Onsen rules with tattoos, but it's very frustrating if your option is that "you can use the onsen if you cover your tattoo's with our plasters" to then limit to 2 small plasters. The good news is that there are local onsen and sentos that allow bathing with tattoos. I had my own cover up tape that would have done the job, but this wasn't allowed by your staff.
Given the APA at Shinjuku was more accommodating, I found it just a bit surprising that APA Yamanote wasn't.
It's a shame this hotel chain hasn't moved with the times.

Onsen, room, breakfast employees
There was less breakfast options than in 2024, no grilled fish. The scrambled eggs were overcooked.

No entiendo que un hotel no permita a sus clientes ir al onsen por tener tatuajes
