Amazing glamping experience!
Pros:

I stayed at Roost Glamping as a solo traveller and had such a great experience 🌴✨

I originally booked a dorm bed and was kindly upgraded to a Superior Tent with a private bathroom, which was such a lovely surprise.

I honestly had one of the best sleeps I’ve had in Thailand. The bed was super comfortable and I found it really peaceful at night surrounded by nature.

The food at the cafe was delicious, the swimming pool was beautiful, and the whole stay exceeded my expectations. Such a cool hidden jungle stay in Rawai and perfect for solo travellers wanting something different from a normal hotel. I would definitely stay again!

Cons:

Of course being outdoors you’ll see a few insects here and there, but for me that was all part of the jungle glamping experience and made it feel even more unique and relaxing.

glamping is a questionable way to describe this place
Pros:

we loved the pool area, it was beautiful. the restaurant has great food and coffee, but it is expensive if you're on a tighter budget. The location was pretty good, close to rawai main area, and the staff were nice, they gave us a free room upgrade and helped us move into a different tent further away from the road on the 2nd night.

Cons:

overall we did not enjoy our stay here. We stayed in an airconditioned tent with a private bathroom. we were originally placed in a tent right beside the road and the noise from traffic all night long kept us up until the early hours of the morning-even with earplug in yes. its definitly a more rural camping experience than we expected, you can hear stray dogs barking through the night, the insects are very loud, we even saw a snake in the bushes when we were leaving. I thoroughly read reviews and researched the place before booking and thought it sounded great and like a cool 'glamping' experience, but it was just not for us. The beds were the most uncomfortable we have stayed in so far in thailand, it was like sleeping on a concrete slab. I would reccomend this accomodation to people who are okay with roughing it a bit and arent phased easily by wildlife, mosquitos, and are heavy sleepers.

Overall, this is a calm and beautiful place with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and good facilities.
Pros:

The place has a really lovely and peaceful atmosphere, which made it easy to relax and unwind. It feels very close to nature, and the surroundings are clearly well taken care of, the gardener was actively maintaining the area, which kept everything looking clean and beautiful. The pool area was especially nice. Good bathrooms and nice outside shower. There is also a great café on-site with a good variety of food and breakfast options, and everything I tried was delicious. The staff were genuinely very friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Very good price for the value.

Cons:

The air conditioning in the dorm was only turned on in the evening, around 9 pm. During the daytime, there wasn’t really a cool place to escape the heat, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times.

Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was really a nice experience. The pool was nice too and the café in the area is a great bonus. We also appreciated that the staff arranged a scooter for us to rent!

Cons:

In the nights, we sometimes had difficulties to have a good sleep because of the noise from some kind of ventilator outside. We booked a tent with an AC inside, so each tent had outside like a ventilator which was making noise when the AC in the tent was on. It took us few nights to find out where was the noise coming from, apparently our neighbors must have had the AC on all the time during the night and were not bothered by the noise, which was appearing every 10 seconds.

Pros:

The tents were way more spacious than we imagined. The common washrooms were well kept + it was a fun experience to bathe under the foliage of beautiful trees! The beds and sheets were clean and comfortable, the cafe had great food too. I had the best sleep in a long time here. Make sure to visit Nai Harn beach (Rawai is closer but isnt a typical beach beach. Its got a bunch of very good restaurants, like Naat, but its more of a promenade than a beach)

Cons:

I wouldn't say that i didn't like it- but since there is no air conditioning, the tents can get very hot and stuffy post 10 am. So keep this in mind while planning your stay here! The tents are lovely to relax in after the sun sets.
