Posizione perfetta, in pieno centro. Camera spaziosa e ben organizzata

Cons:

Il personale svogliato, non accogliente e poco gentile e collaborativo. Questo sia durante il check in che nel check out. Peccato, è la prima volta che accade dopo decine di esperienze di strutture ricettive in Islanda

Pros:

La camera è arredata in maniera moderna e curata. La pulizia è molto buona. Colazione con ingredienti ottimi, ma scarsa.

Cons:

ci sono stati alcuni aspetti molto negativi: per due mattine non ho potuto usufruire della colazione, che avevo già saldato al momento della prenotazione della camera, in quando il servizio colazione inizia alle ore 7 e le mie escursioni iniziavano ben prima. Più volte ho richiesto la possibilità di avere ALMENO un caffè alle 6,30, richiesta negata da due addetti alla reception. Aspetto alquanto spiacevole, visto il prezzo della camera. Oltretutto non è stato proposto nessun rimborso delle colazioni non fruite.
Altro aspetto, non ho mai visto un "boutique" hotel a quattro stelle senza un frigo all'interno della camera.
Ultima cosa, pochissima simpatia degli addetti alla reception: sorridete maggiormente.

Good one night stay in excellent location.
Pros:

Location is excellent - right in the center of tourist area with restaurants, shops, old harbor with Harpa center - all in easy walking distance. Good coffee in a room. Tea cattle is appreciated as well. Couple of tea bags provided ( bring your own cream and sugar if needed). Check in was flawless. Room assigned right away ( we came early). Bedding is very comfortable. Balcony access in our Glass Door room was wonderful ( overlooking central street, but no noise in the room from outside). Front desk staff friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

Room is small ( was good enough for our one night stay, but would be tough for prolonged visit).

Pros:

Hotel Von is very centrally located. Room is clean and neat. The only complaint is the window sound proofing can be much improved. Our room faces the busy street. Pedestrians talking at all hours can be heard. Other than that, hotel is nice.
