Worst hotel in Kolkata
Pros:

I usually do not rate anything worst in my life however i have to post this as this hotel is the most hypocrite and misbehaved hotel I have ever come across in my life. I arrived almost near to midnight with my family after 5hrs of drive from Nasik to Mumbai followed by a 2.5hr long flight to Kolkata just to be stopped at the entrance itself due to a DSLR camera. I have checked in world class hotels of Hilton, Taj and many more hotels across the world throughout my life however this was the first time ever i have been ill treated for just carrying a DSLR set. So my question here is this hotel so strong in its policy? No it isnt as white skin vloggers have taken video posted them on you tube and having rampart likes. So being from the city, they felt I am not having enough credentials to be hosted. A security incharge Rahul incidentally took away my camera and kept it away from my other lugguage. I wasnt filming i wasnt even having my mobile camera on. So what is the reason for such ill treatment? Well probably over confidence in the staff to ill treatment an Indian is what the management trained them to do. Shame shame ITC Royal Bengal. I wish you never existed in my city. So we decided a simple walk out without checkin. This has affected my 5yr old kid who was so sad the way the hotel treated by making us wait outside.
If you cant show decency in behaviour its better you close your hotel. Send your staff to Taj where they will learn how they treat their guest. I will ensure you just not loose me but at least all wild life photographers to never choose you. This post will go everywhere including Trip Advisor any possible review zone. Tonight when i slept in Taj Bengal I really cursed myself having even thought to venture to stay with you.

The Best Royal Experience in Kolkata.
Pros:

Loved the experience and stay at ITC Royal Bengal.
The staffs and receptionists were very helpful and professional.
Ms/Mrs. Ankana , Ms/Mrs. Alice , and Ms/Mrs. Nima they have assisted me well with my whole stay and helped me with things whenever i needed.
The royalty is surely experienced here.

Grand and really spacious rooms. nice breakfast though very crowded.

Cons:

The bathroom fittings especially shower have become old .. including rust on the shower. Towel quality was average.
