Not a happy camper!
Pros:

The parking was insufficient for what I paid for. This time the employees were not helpful or nice. This is very different from my last stay there 3 months ago. This time they just said go park up the street referring to their parking lot. I didn’t know where it was or if there would be a sign. Not nice at all to me regarding this. There was no sign that said this was the Pagoda parking and if it wasn’t another person at the lot to ask I would have been in bad shape. I’m not sure I will stay here in the future and I do travel to Honolulu 5 times a year for my personal homes.

Reservation Mishap
Pros:

The location was walking distance to stores and various food establishments.

Cons:

Our reservations were not what we expected. The details of the rooms were not what I reserved. I reserved 2 rooms with 2 double beds to sleep 3 adults in each. But we were given 2 rooms with 1 King size bed in each room leaving one of my family sleeping on the floor. They did not have the option of roll away beds.

Comfortable room, with good security and a nice breakfast.

Cons:

Old airconditioning unit was noisy and allowed street noise to enter the room. The hotel is close to shopping but a decent walk to the beach.

I enjoyed my stay at the Pagoda hotel, hotel staff is helpful and courteous.
Pros:

Whenever I go to Honolulu, I prefer to book myself at Pagoda Hotel along Rycroft St. because the hotel's location is very strategic. It is near Walmart, Ala Moana, Don Quixote, near the Catholic Church. Transportation is also easy to get.

Cons:

They change and make up the room every 4 hrs.
