The room was very spacious but can be noisy with the DART at the back so keep this in mind. Food in the bar was amazing. Staff are super friendly on reception
There was nothing in the room to inform us of breakfast nor were we told on check in that it was only til 10am. When we went down to get breakfast at 10.10 presuming it was finishing like most other hotels at 10.30am- We couldn't even get a cup of coffee and we paid for breakfast in our price so this was very disappointing. Housekeeping also walked into our room at 9.30am without announcement.
Good location
The rooms were not clean, our first room had blood on the sheets and when they moved us to another room the towels were dirty.
Staff were helpful, room was larger.
The property is in an rougher area near a train station and the bus station.
easy access to railway station
Balcony unusable due to bird poop and flies
The location is great and the rooms are very comfortable. Aircon in room was great as was the shower pressure. All staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast room is pretty dark and stuffy. While the cooked breakfast was lovely, the continental options were a little sparse. Not a lot of bread options either. The food I had in the bar was just ok, my chips were under done. No major issues but I wouldn't necessarily recommend based on food.
Location
Air-conditioning whilst a bonus for a hotel in Ireland was extremely loud.
Great location. Plenty of space in the room. The bed was comfortable. Would recommend.
The only problem we had was the room smelled of cigarette smoke every time we entered the it.
Nice food and breakfast
The hotel is in the “ghetto” need to walk thru sketchy places to get anywhere. Would now walk alone at night
The pool has so much chlorine in it so it’s not useable. And it’s EXPENSIVE it’s NOT included in booking price. And it’s so much chlorine ur eyes burnes.
The hotel itself was nice, in a good location, well kept. The majority of the staff were polite and accommodating. The room was mostly comfortable. We had some issues getting checked in detailed below, and Alex and Youssef (?) were accommodating, even providing drink vouchers while we waited, but other staff were not as polite.
1. When we arrived, we were shown to our room. After about 20 minutes, it was apparent that the AC wasn't working. Thinking maybe it was user error, we contacted the front desk. They sent someone to check it out, who said the AC was broken and that we would have to move rooms. The second room they moved us to was absolutely NOT on the same tier as the room we booked. We booked an Address King Club room, which is specifically one of the renovated rooms in the executive wing that comes with XYZ amenities and is significantly larger, and additionally is accessed via private elevator. The new room was significantly smaller and didn't have any of the amenities, was in a different area of the hotel, and was accessed via the main elevator. We brought this up with the front desk, to which they responded by moving us again (which was fine). The third room they moved us to was mostly okay, except there was a train right outside the window and the window was broken and stuck open. It wouldn't close and latch. The wind kept blowing it open and every time the tram passed it was like it was coming through the room. We called the front desk to ask them to come fix the window. They said someone would be right up. 30 minutes went by and no one showed up, so I called again, letting them know we couldn't unpack if the window was going to remain stuck open because we would need a different room for safety and noise. We went to go wait in the lobby after the person finally came and couldn't fix the window. I overheard the front desk staff talking about us rudely, as if wanting a room in working order was somehow our fault. I had been nothing but polite, if firm about not staying in a room with a broken window. They did finally manage to fix the window, but it took 3 hours of our night to get a working room, and hearing them complain about us loudly enough to be heard across the lobby was incredibly off-putting. We will not return.
The property was absolutely lovely such a beautiful hotel
I loved everything about this property
