Polite staff and reasonably priced.
A mess up with the room allocation.
The breakfast could start a little earlier.
Loved the massive bathroom in the suit, the staff were so helpful and friendly, food was delicious and not over priced.
When entering the room there wasn’t a bad smell but there wasn’t a good one either so it didn’t make you feel like the room was fresh and clean. The room was clean but an air freshener/diffuser would have brought it up a level. Also when first using the shower there wasn’t an eggy drain smell which did quickly disappear.
Our room was upgraded as we had requested a bath if possible which was very kind. We ate our evening meal there and the quality and price were excellent. The surrounding village is lovely
The only thing is the 4pm check in which could have been a little earlier - but was fine for us on this occasion.
Clean and good value
First room we where allocated smelt badly of drains, but the staff changed us to another room which was great
Lovely stylish room big bed and beautiful bathroom
Just a little hot in the room
The friendly staff, quiet location, lovely food
Parking is limited, rooms are very warm.
A fan is provided, but we brought our own
All Good.
nothing not to like.
Room was fabulous and restaurant was excellent
Excellent value for money and lovely breakfast
Staff very friendly
Na
The hotel is unmanned at night so every evening they try and hurry you out of the restaurant and the bar calling last orders at 10.30pm on the Friday night. I stayed in room 7 and the coolers were running all night below my room sounding like a loud generator resulting in me having one hours sleep on the Saturday night! I videoed it so they could see but have done nothing about it yet. I am a repeat traveller but doubtful I will be going again unless they resolve my complaint.
Quant little old fashioned pub out side nice and big and clean reception staff very polite and friendly rooms very clean
Nothing
Very noisy compressor or air con unit underneath room 6 going most of night.
Location
The noisy cellar generator outside my bedroom 8 window at night plus the basin & shower waste did not drain
Ideal for an overnight stay , didn't spend much time in the actual hotel but breakfast was great.
Only issue was the bathroom door didn't stay closed and couldn't be locked ,not a major issue due to the amount of time we spent there but reported on leaving so hopefully it will be sorted
