Loved the location, very quiet. The staff was friendly and very helpful

Staff was nice breakfast was sub par and the room definitely needed attention. We will not be returning.
Pros:

The staff was very friendly.

Cons:

It was 80 degrees in the whole hotel. They had no ac on anywhere. As soon as we got in to get our room keys they charged us an extra $50 even after we paid for our room prior to arriving. Our room had some issues with cleanliness. Spots on walls, mattress covers were dirty, and the area that held the mini fridge was falling apart.

Waited 10 minutes for front desk staff to check in…A note said to call on the phone and he still took 10 minutes. Also no personality at all

Pros:

Very accommodating staff. I have spent 4 different trips to Cherokee at Bay Mountian Inn. I come up to ride my bike. It is in a great location, just off 441. The rooms are nice, clean, and spacious. The breakfast is the usual free breakfast.

Clean and well maintained

Cons:

I would like to see a more substantial breakfast selection. Eggs would be a welcome addition, as well as some sort breakfast meat(bacon, sausage)
