Easy check in, beds were comfortable, shower felt great
Bathtub needs updated, was stained so it didn't look clean even if it was. Water Temps were actually backwards for tub & sink. People next to us had a dog that barked everytime someone went in or out the entry door by our rooms.

Clean & convenient
We checked in @ 8:30 pm. We let the desk clerk know that we would be taking a shuttle to airport at 5:00 am. We also let him know that we would not be using the safe that would be located in our room.
Early the next morning at exactly 5 AM we arrived in the lobby and we’re told that the shuttle driver had been there but that he had left already. This seemed very odd. I asked if he had a number where the shuttle driver could be called. He said that he did have a number. He refused to call the shuttle driver and he would not give me the number to call the driver either. Fortunately at around 5:10 AM. The shuttle driver called me and wondered where I was because he was waiting at the Dane county airport. I informed him that I was at the hotel waiting for a ride to the airport which my registration papers definitely confirmed. The desk clerk conveniently disappeared around that time and refused to come to the desk to answer any questions or be helpful in any way since he had clearly already messed up. Once again, I let the desk clerk know that we did not use the safe. In fact we weren’t even sure where the safe was located in the room because we weren’t in the room very long. In fact, we spent eight hours in the room. Eventually, the shuttle driver showed up, which took him 30 minutes from the airport. On the way back to the airport I discovered why it had taken him 30 minutes to come and pick us up as he took an extra long route on the beltline area instead of going directly to the airport, which would’ve been a 19 minute ride according to my GPS.
He drove a consistent 40 to 45 miles an hour because we were not on a highway and we also passed through numerous intersections and stoplights. I did ask the driver why he had taken the longest possible route to the airport when he knew we were already late. He replied that the route he was taking was the route that he had been told to use.
Location
Rooms smelled stale. Cleaning only upon request which would be fine if they told you that at the beginning of stay so you know to make a choice. Security was lax as one of our rooms was walked into by a random person at 11:30 at night, leaving our kids feeling uncomfortable for the remainder of the stay. The manager gave us a slight discount but also advised us to use our deadbolts at future hotels as if we shouldn’t expectt that a closed locked door is safe from intruders. We are not that hard to please generally. But would not recommend this hotel
