The staff was very helpful with a mistake that Booking.com made. I paid online and when I got to the hotel, they couldn’t book me in because of some error that Booking.com made, but thankfully the staff help me through the problem and we were able to resolve.

The front desk staff didn't speak clearly. The room was very tacky, old and run down.
The room smelled of cigarette smoke. The outside garbage was overflowing. The whole building and grounds were run down and disgusting. The only linens we had were 2 regular towels and 2 wash rags for 3 people. No light bulbs in the light fixtures.
The only positives I can share are convenient location and somewhat friendly/apologetic staff person.
When I arrived and went up to my assigned room, it was already occupied. I went to the desk and it took the clerk 10 - 15 minutes plus several trips up and down the stairs to find a room I could use. Room was okay but potential guests should know that there are no amenities—not even shampoo. Room was clean-ish but depressing. Furniture is worn and banged up. There was no shower curtain, but I managed to take a shower without and when I used a towel to mop the floor, it quickly turned brown-ish grey indicating that perhaps the room was not so clean after all. Other cheap things: tv remote battery was dead and have to pay extra to connect more than one device to the wifi network. Perhaps the worst thing was being awoken at 1 in the morning by someone entering my room. They too had been given an already occupied room. I had put the security bolt on the door, but that malfunctioned so they were able to fully open the door and step into the room.

When checking in, we heard a lady yelling at another FDhousekeeper to get moving and clean rooms because guests were checking in.
The room was just old and not well kept. It smelled really bed really bad. There was hair on the back of the bathroom toilet, the toilet seat was loose, and there weren’t enough towels.
My husband tried opening the refrigerator, and it pulled so far from the wall before he could get the door open
The bed seemed smaller that the queen size that was advertised. The pillows were so thin

The only thing that I liked about this property, was that it was close to the event I was attending.
I know this property is an extended stay… But it almost looked like a halfway house. People yelling and screaming up late at night…at the front desk in their pajamas interrupting conversations (me with the receptionist), old rooms that need repairs…smelled like weed my entire stay.
