Location, quiet room and the cleaning

The elevator was very slow
Excellent location and the view from the Premium Empire State Queen with Terrace was wonderful once we actually got it.
Bearing in mind this is a 4 star hotel, service and conditions were simply not acceptable:
- We booked and paid a premium for the Empire State Queen with Terrace to mark a special occasion during our trip. At check-in they put us in a lower category room without saying a word, I can only assume hoping we wouldn't notice the downgrade.
- Housekeeping did not clean our room for a couple of day, even though we were told they were supposed to do it every day, but on our last day they were rushing us out of the room an hour before checkout time.
- The balconies and terraces aren't in good condition anymore and the furniture they have is not appropriate for outdoors which means they're barely usable considering how mouldy and stained they were.
- The beds were very squeaky. Shower temperature wasn't stable and water pressure was very low.
The room situation could have been easily solved by the front desk being up front about the situation, offering an apology, and walking us through the rooms available and their rates (there were a lot of other rooms available during our stay). Instead the staff chose to be extremely difficult about it, feigning ignorance, making us wait to speak with several different people who each gave a different excuse, and acting as if we were being demanding for not wanting to pay for amenities we paid extra for and didn't get. They did eventually move us to the room we originally booked but only after several days of back and forth discussions on it. What was supposed to be a celebration ended up being overshadowed by days of stress and frustration, which is not what anyone should have to deal with at a 4 star hotel at this price point.

İlk gün tahsis edilen odanın havasız ve penceresiz olmasına rağmen kalamayacağımızı belirtsek ise de olumlu bir yaklaşım göremedik, ertesi sabah benzer odayı vereceklerini söylemelerine rağmen vermediler dolayısıyla bir gecemiz bize zehir oldu. Tahsis edilen oda da engelliler için olan bir oda idi , banyo dizaynından öyle anlaşılıyor .
