Schönes Hotel in toller Lage – beim Frühstück ist noch Luft nach oben.
Pros:

Die Lage direkt am Golfplatz in Dornoch ist hervorragend. Vom Hotel aus hat man einen schönen Blick auf den Golfplatz und das Meer. Auch die Parkmöglichkeiten sind sehr gut. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und wir hatten ein sehr grosszügiges, schönes Zimmer, in dem wir uns wohlgefühlt haben.

Cons:

Leider hat uns das Frühstück enttäuscht. Das Buffet war häufig nahezu leer – Brot, Croissants oder Früchte wurden teilweise nicht nachgefüllt. Der à-la-carte-Teil des Frühstücks war zwar lecker, allerdings mussten wir sehr lange darauf warten. Das Personal war freundlich, wir hatten jedoch den Eindruck, dass die Abläufe beim Frühstück nicht gut organisiert waren.

Pros:

The location looking onto Royal Dornoch was nice.

Cons:

Waiting staff had to be reminded about drinks we had ordered, also tomato ketchup had to be asked for twice, also I had to tell the staff there were no glasses for the juice at breakfast.

One night is never enough.
Pros:

Warm welcome on arrival at reception, remembered from our previous visit. All the staff were warm, friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, comfortable bed with quality linens and plenty choice of pillows. Room was spotlessly clean and well furnished.

Cons:

Missing a fridge ... but couple of bags of ice in a carrier bag did the trick.

Cons:

I used the hairdryer in the hotel, which triggered the alarm, and the hotel charged a £200 fine just to turn off the alarm. They blamed that the alarm was from the shower steam, which wasn't the case because no one was taking a shower. They also tried to overcharge me for my dinner bill for something I didn't order. I would not recommend this hotel.

Fresh croissants were excellent. Cold cereals fine. Hot eggs awful

Cons:

Room provided with one towel for two night stay. Showere had water all over the floor. Curtains did not it operate properly
