Lovely rooms, clean and comfortable, this is our 2nd visit

The owners actually care and it shows - immaculate, comfortable and good location
Pros:

Room was beautiful, immaculate and really comfortable. The decor of the whole place is stunning. There's everything you need for a lovely break. There are personal touches in the communal areas, like pin boards showing local history, places to visit, magazines on Sherborne etc. Owners not "in your face" but make sure you have everything you need. And there's very sweet and comical little touches like a little sign on way downstairs saying "Important - Have you got your phone charger and glasses" - it made me giggle and showed they want their guests to have a good break. Food menu looked amazing and we'll priced but this time I didn't have chance. I'd happily go back and recommend to anyone it's a lovely place - also 5 min walk to town centre. I rarely review but this time I need to say thank you.

Cons:

There wasn't anything - I suppose it might be a bit tricky for less mobile as the rooms that I saw were all upstairs but they may have downstairs ones I don't know.

Newell Bistro and Rooms is a great property. My stay was only one night but was very enjoyable.
Pros:

Great location easy walking to the center of Sherbourne. Breakfast was delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The room was directly on a busy road so a little noisy.

Nice well priced stay comfortable and friendly
Pros:

This is a quirky old building in a historic town but was v comfortable and clean. Tracey who runs it was extremely nice and there is water and tea and coffee facilities where you can help yourself and then take to your room. Didn't have chance to eat there but menu looked good.

What's not to like?
Pros:

Comfortable bed. Amazing bathroom. Super breakfast. Walking distance to town centre. Next time will eat at the restaurant as french menu looks fabulous and reasonable 😋

Pros:

Came here with my dad a few weeks ago (and my supposed 4 children 😂) it was exceptional comfy beds, a lovely meal in the bistro and the place is right near all the local amenities, me and my dad had a really good time and the owners were great aswell very hospitable.

Nothing it was exceptional

The best sort of straightforward accommodation: clean comfy and with plenty of hot water
Pros:

I really like having a tea station outside the room that allows the brewing of a proper mug of tea and access to cold water bottles

Cons:

Like a lot of hotels, it struggled without aircon in the very hot weather but I was provided with a strong modern fan and the room had been kept shaded during the day. Really annoyed I always seem to stay here when the bistro isn't open though. Also breakfast (extra) doesn't start until 9am, which is too late for business travellers.

Lovely! Have already booked for next month!
Pros:

Our welcome was friendly and everything explained. The room was spotless and although on the road, the triple glazing did the job with a really powerful air conditioning unit to help. The bathroom was immaculate and the electric shower, although not powerful was hot and reliable. The coffee room along the corridor was well stocked and clean and it was great to have fresh milk!

Cons:

Nothing! A comfy B&B which offers great value for money in a lovely town
