Great view but short on facilities.
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location close to the quayside. We had a deluxe room which was spacious, with a balcony that afforded a terrific view of the harbour. The bathroom was large with a bath. Polite staff.

Cons:

Unfortunately industrial action meant no dining facilities. We were not forewarned about this. Although large, the room lacked decoration and ambience. Breakfast was pretty basic with coffee from a machine.

wonderful location, price very decent, comfortable
Pros:

Great location. Can walk all round Bergen from here. Nice clean hotel. We had a room overlooking the harbour which was lovely. Restaurant food at night good value for money for good basics like burgers. Nice calm environment for eating and relaxing.

Cons:

Room a little hot at night. I think because no individual aircon in the room.

We stayed here in December and were impressed. However we had planned to eat in the restaurant but it was closed for dinner due to a strike! Had we have known before we got there we would have altered our plans! Disappointed!

Tolle Lage und ruhig gelegen
Pros:

Super gelegenes Hotel, in dem ich nun zum dritten Mal übernachtet habe. Mein Zimmer hatte einen tollen Blick nach Bryggen und war ruhig gelegen. Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber völlig ausreichend. Das Personal war superfreundlich und hilfsbereit.
