Loved the view from our room and that we had a private balcony. Staff throughout the hotel as always were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent. Great location for everything that you’d need.
We’d upgraded from our previous stay to a delux but aside from the private balcony I didn’t see any major differences between this “delux” double and the room we had on our previous stay? The bathroom was a dissapointment compared to previous room’s bathroom which had wet room, this bathroom had bath shower and the bath was quite high to step over and into. The soap dispenser by the sink was above head height and more suitable for somebody 6 or 7 foot tall. The bedroom itself felt quite cramped and not what I’d expect from a “delux” room!

God variert frokost, og perfekt bord ved vindu med utsikt til sjøen og alle båter. Strålende fin beliggenhet med kort vei til bryggen og torget.
Det ble en litt kald dusj, varmt vann kom etter 5 - 10 minutter. Ellers litt svakt lys på badet foran speilet ved vasken. Og litt dyrt for en natt denne gangen, betalte bare halvparten sist i 2025.
Amazing location right next to the wharf. A very pleasant bar restaurant downstairs, with a great barman, who chatted to us about Norway.
Nothing really; we didn't love our room, but that's just personal preference, and perhaps more an issue of how expensive Norway is so comparing it to where else we stayed in other countries is perhaps not fair....
Room was beautiful bed was amazingly comfortable, breakfast choice was amazing huge selection of food . Close to harbour and visitor attractions
There was a strike on so no evening meal or bar apparently we could have had drinks from reception but no one bothered to advise us
Location cant be beat. View of Bryggen across the harbor, steps from the ferry terminal. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was excellent.
Bathroom was smallish, but workable.
