The front desk told us the swimming pool was ready to swim. Then when we get there, there is a closed sign on the pool. After asking her again, she said it’s good and took the sign down. Then after my children and I swim for 40 minutes she pulls us out and says we haven’t been tested or approved my health department so she closes the pool again
The area it’s in
The breakfast .. Cost of these rooms breakfast should be a lot better than it was I’m just saying
I do not expect this kind of hotel. This is a below-average hotel. I hope you can take care of this facility and remodel it. The sheets are old and not clean. I asked housekeeping to change them. The smell of the hotel is not good. The breakfast is really below-average.
Hotel staff was super nice, understanding, helpful and accommodating. Hotel needs to step up their breakfast menu and air out their rooms.
My room was right by that loud ass elevator, the toilet was groce
Nice front desk staff and comfortable bed.
That's where it ends. I thought the Hyatt was a higher standard hotel. I will NEVER stay here again.
The breakfast was horrible along with broken ice machines. Other guests were disappointed as well...
Filthy hotel. Old dirty carpeting. Room smelled musty. Staff didn't seem to care about anything. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!
It was adequate. Clean and spacious. Staff were fine but not welcoming. Nothing really wrong but nothing great so I’d happily try one of the many other hotels in the area.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was incredibly disappointing from start to finish and nowhere near what I would expect. The staff was unfriendly and not helpful, which immediately set the tone for the experience.
We specifically booked a room with two beds and a pullout sofa because we needed the extra sleeping space. The room we were given did not have a sofa bed at all. When we went downstairs to request an extra pillow and blanket because of the issue, we were simply handed them wadded up in a bundle—not folded, not bagged, just handed over like an afterthought.
The room itself looked neglected and poorly maintained. It started with the door having a chunk of wood missing, looking like the lock had previously been ripped off, and things only got worse from there. The fixtures were coated in thick dust (I have photos), there were chunks missing from the walls, the clock looked like it had literally been ripped off the nightstand with part of it still attached while the actual clock sat across the room unplugged and not even set. The top of the air conditioner had visible debris and clearly had not been cleaned in quite some time. Most shockingly, there was an actual chunk of hair hanging from the mirror. Cleanliness was obviously not a priority.
Breakfast was another huge disappointment and far below the standard I’ve come to expect. There were cold donut holes, cold scrambled eggs, and sausage links. The only fruit option was a bowl of apples. Yogurt was sitting in containers, but there was no oatmeal, cereal, granola, raisins, or any of the typical breakfast options usually available. Even the bagels were left in a bag and tossed in a pile instead of being set out properly, and all plates and utensils were paper products.
Overall, this felt neglected, poorly maintained, and lacking even basic attention to detail. I left extremely disappointed and would not stay here again.

We needed a stopover hotel on our way to FL so this was a good location for us. Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are very run down-no shower curtain liner, missing drain stopper, stained couch. Included breakfast are part of the reason we always choose Hyatts-this one was pitiful in comparison. No cereals, yogurt, fruit, or pastries. We always book on points so my expectations are not crazy high but for 10k a night (higher than you average Hyatt Place) this place was not worth it! Luckily, it was really just to have a place to sleep, definitely wouldn’t be back for anything extended.
There are many issues with the room I checked into. The door stopper on the room door shows signs of having been forcibly kicked or broken open and can be moved by hand. There are also many pry marks on the door. Throughout the night, I could hear the elevator starting up, and the noise was extremely loud. The alarm clock on the bedside table had been removed, leaving only adhesive residue behind. Of the three bathroom toiletry bottles, one is missing its cap and another is empty. The room also has an extremely strong perfume smell, which becomes uncomfortable after prolonged exposure.
I read reviews that made believe the hotel was ran down. I was pleasantly surprised and very satisfied. The only item that I found true was the breakfast, its an easy fix just needs attention. Staff was very good.
As many of the recent reviews have noted, the condition of the hotel is in terrible condition. The carpets are filthy, bathrooms dirty, moldy smell in the room, and the rooms(note rooms) we were given didn’t even have a shower curtain. This is not what a Hyatt should be.
The Hampton Inn next door is far superior. We ended up having to stay an extra two nights and decided to go there.
This is by no means a reflection of the front desk staff. They were friendly and tried to accommodate as best as possible, but they are limited to what they can do.
