Breakfast selection and my AC didn’t work and my son had a nose bleed because of that
I didn’t like any of the breakfast.
The food was hot and choices were very limited. The food was also bland and dry or stale.
Room was spacious, and shower was excellent.
Bring out an extra toaster on busy mornings. Coffee was no good.
The breakfast wasn’t good and not much there. We went to the Waffle House 7 mins aways the next morning.
The rooms were old. Bathroom small and ceiling had mold. The hotel pictures on Booking.com looked different than how the hotel actually looks like inside.
Breakfast was ok.
Room was not clean. Carpet had many spots and did not appear to be clean.
Room was not cleaned during our three day stay.
Hyatt Place is consistent. This hotel is an aging facility; our breakfast selections were limited compared to other Hyatt Place locations we've visited. With the shortfalls mentioned, the hotel staff more than made up for these; the front desk clerk upon check in as well as at check out went over and above. She recommended a wonderful locally owned restaurant for dinner and wished us well and safe travels upon our departure.
Clean and comfortable
It was absolutely horrible. First room smelled like smoke. Second room had shit stains in the toilet, hair in the shower. We wasn’t in the hotel 5 minutes. We left and stayed at a different hotel. They wouldn’t even refund me. Highly upset with this place!!
I have stayed at this hotel off and on over the past few years for golf tournaments at Hoover Country Club. Generally speaking it is nice, in a great location and has a super friendly staff. I only really encountered two minor issues. The first was on my first day of stay breakfast was not ready until about 30 minutes after the posted time. Also, the rooms, while nice, smell a little musty upon the first few minutes of entry.
Well please see the above. I don't want to type all of that over again....generally speaking I would stay here again despite the minor issues.
Amazing front desk experience, but it stops there. The hotel was beyond in need of an upgrade. It smelled musty, our room still had toothpaste in the sink from the prior guest, there was ketchup all over the the bedside table and hair all over the floor. We had to where our shoes to walk around. I would not stay here again with a lot of other options around this area.

The beds were uncomfortable
They called within an hour of check in to inform me they cancelled my paid reservation. The reason for cancellation was not explained and it really put us in a bind to find another hotel at the last minute.
I’ve stayed at this location in the past, so I felt confident booking again. I was extremely wrong. While the Hyatt app check-in was seamless, the physical reality was a disaster. I arrived to find a lobby line snaking out the door, serviced by a single, overwhelmed representative on a busy Saturday.
Since I had a digital key, I bypassed the crowd—only to enter an elevator that was filthy and sticky from a massive spill. When I reached my room, the digital key failed, forcing me back downstairs to wait 30 minutes in that same line just to get a physical key.
The room was a relic of neglect: * Maintenance: Torn, stained carpets and a general lack of upkeep.
Amenities: No disposable cups in the room and only half a roll of toilet paper.
Service: When I realized I’d forgotten my shower cap, the front desk didn't even have a spare to offer.
Hygiene: The "nasty" elevator was still sticky and uncleaned the next morning.
To top it off, there wasn't even a complimentary tea or coffee station available. Between the grime in the elevators and the state of the room, I was honestly too scared to even attempt the breakfast.
Long story short: Hyatt just lost me as a customer.
