Despite the construction, would consider coming back on my next trip to Birmingham
Pros:

Due to construction, lobby was a mess and no breakfast. However, the staff provided the guests with bag breakfast, which was delicious. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

Cons:

Showers were slippery and a mat would have been useful. Construction in the lobby was inconvenient.

For the price, I expected it to be cleaner, stocked with replacement linens and available ice machines on each floor.
Pros:

Location. Beds are comfortable.

Cons:

It was not clean. Hair in the shower and a used washcloth in the soap dish left from previous guest. Gate door going to the pool was broken. Could only get ice from the front desk. Couldn’t get clean towels without asking 20 times.

We’ve stayed in several Hyatt Places in the past. This one was by far the worst we’ve ever stayed.
Pros:

The location was great. Close to the interstate.

Cons:

The room was dirty. The faucet was coming out of the vanity. There was no trash can in the bathroom. The toilet was clogged when we came in. The shower had mildew around all of the caulking.

The hotel was comfortable and welcoming, but I think that the room issues and poor communication held it back from being

The friendly hotel staff were very friendly , and the hotel’s location was highly convenient.

Cons:

Breakfast could’ve been a little better. The phone didn’t work in the room, so I had to go downstairs for everything, and I had to tell multiple people just to bring towels. There was also a minor pest issue with ants in the room.

Only here for one night, advertised as 2 beds there was only 1.

It was hot and so humid in the unit that the floors were wet. Smelled like mildew from the carpets sweating.

This hotel needs a makeover
Pros:

This property has gone downhill. Breakfast offering were more what I'd expect at a Motel 6. Room needed painting. shampoo bottles in room were empty.

Burglary at the Hyatt
Pros:

Not the Hyatt I expected ‼️
Pros:

Location, Location, location ‼️ The staff was extremely nice and was working with what they had to make it better. I got a smile and good attitude with any problem I had.

Cons:

Was not clean enough and EXTREMELY OUT DATED‼️The covering of my AC unit fell off,the toilet was not seated and had to jiggle the handle to stop running...and all of this was after I had to change rooms TWICE. 1st room wasn't cleaned and the 2nd the television didn't work. Just expected more from the name brand and the location.

Pros:

We arrived to check in to our room at 5:30p and were told that all of the rooms were dirty due to a concert. There were several people already waiting in the lobby for their rooms. A lady came up at that moment and entered all the rooms that had been cleaned. We were given one of those rooms. When we went to our room the bed was made nicely. There was only 1 large towel and 2 hand towels. There was no soap the wash your hands at the sink I had to use body wash from the shower. There were stains on the carpet and on the bathroom wall. The bathroom looked old and beaten up. We are Hyatt members and this is by far the worst Hyatt we have ever stayed in.
