My dining experience at Manila Bay Kitchen at Sheraton Manila Bay was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warm smiles, attentiveness, and outstanding hospitality. Their friendly and professional service made the entire experience even more enjoyable.
The food selection was impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes to suit every palate. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making it difficult to choose a favorite.
The ambiance was equally wonderful—elegant, relaxing, and inviting. It created the perfect setting for a memorable meal, whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying quality time with family and friends.
Overall, Manila Bay Kitchen exceeded my expectations in every way. Excellent food, exceptional service, and a beautiful atmosphere make it a place I would gladly visit again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Manila bay kitchen The food was delicious, with a great variety of dishes, and everything was fresh and beautifully prepared. The restaurant had a relaxing atmosphere, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
I would especially like to commend Eljene for her exceptional service. She was friendly, professional, and very attentive throughout our visit. She made sure everything was perfect and went the extra mile to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. Her genuine hospitality and dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out.
Thank you, Eljene, and the entire MBK team, for making our visit so enjoyable. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service. We can’t wait to come back!
The Sheraton Manila Bay has made updates to the old Pan Pacific and provides the best accommodation option I've found in Central Manila. It is a short walk to Robinsons Place mall and a slightly longer stroll to Rizal Park. Despite the name, the hotel is a few blocks inland and not right on the bay like the Diamond Hotel and some other properties. The immediate area around the hotel can get interesting, especially at night — be prepared for aggressive street solicitations for massages or nightlife. That said, I have stayed here three times in the last year and have generally felt safe in the area.
The rooms are kept very clean but show their age despite the renovations; the bathroom fixtures and shower tiles in particular have not been replaced.
The Manila Bay Kitchen provides an extensive menu for lunch or dinner. I highly recommend the Foul Medammes and selections from the grill. The breakfast selection is also extensive, with a wide variety of Filipino and international options.
As a Bonvoy Ambassador elite member, I had access to the new executive lounge on the top floor. The lounge offers a great evening reception with food and drinks. However, although the lounge is open all day, I found it odd and frustrating that canned drinks like soda are locked up outside of the evening reception hours. This is unlike most executive lounges, which keep non-alcoholic beverages available all day.
I will return to the Sheraton when staying near Central Manila for a quick business trip, but would choose a property in Pasay, Makati, or BGC for a family trip or a longer stay.
I traveled in discomfort with fractured wrist as visit was important. I chose Sheraton Manila bay, Malate for its hospitality and courteous staffs. From check in to check out, The staffs went above and beyond, Ms. Abigael and mr. Eduardo in particular ensured that I am comfortable despite of fractured right hand wrist and consequential discomfort. The rooms are immaculate, spacious, and equipped with modern facilities and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. And it’s always buzzing with excited and happy guests. Perfect location for both business and leisure!
As someone who spends a significant portion of the year in hotels around the world and logs more than 100 nights annually at Marriott Bonvoy properties, I rarely write reviews. However, the Sheraton Manila Bay has earned one.
Of all the hotels I stay in, this property remains my favorite and, without question, my home away from home whenever I am in the Philippines. The hotel itself is well-appointed, ideally located near the U.S. Embassy, government offices, shopping, and dining, with rooms and a Club Lounge offering beautiful views of both Manila Bay and the city skyline. Yet what truly sets this hotel apart is not the location, the views, or the amenities—it is the people.
The level of personalized service at the Sheraton Manila Bay is extraordinary and increasingly rare in today’s hospitality industry. From the moment I arrive, I am greeted by name by the front desk team, whose professionalism and efficiency consistently make every arrival seamless. Micah, the Operations Manager, exemplifies the hotel’s commitment to guest care, taking the time to ensure each stay feels personal and welcoming.
The Club Lounge is one of the finest I have experienced anywhere in the Marriott portfolio. Carla, Marie, and Arnold deliver service that is polished, attentive, and genuinely warm. Their consistency, attention to detail, and sincere hospitality transform what could be a standard hotel amenity into one of the highlights of every stay.
Each morning, Stephanie in the restaurant greets guests with warmth and professionalism. She remembers preferences, anticipates needs, and starts the day with the kind of genuine smile that cannot be taught—it simply reflects a culture of hospitality that runs throughout the hotel.
The concierge team is equally exceptional, always knowledgeable, responsive, and eager to assist. Even the General Manager deserves special recognition for being visible, accessible, and engaged with both guests and staff. That leadership presence is reflected throughout the property and is clearly a driving force behind the hotel’s remarkable service culture.
In a bustling city, the Sheraton Manila Bay feels like a hidden gem—an oasis and refuge where guests are treated not as room numbers, but as valued individuals. The warmth, professionalism, and consistency of the team create an experience that extends far beyond a comfortable stay. They create a sense of belonging.
Many hotels provide accommodations. Few create connections. The Sheraton Manila Bay does both, and it is the reason I continue to look forward to every return visit to Manila.
I would like to express my gratitude to the whole Sheraton team who made our stay truly memorable.
The Front Office team was very accommodating and anticipated our needs.
Unica and her team took care of us ensuring we felt at home every time we dine in The Kitchen. Justin and Bryan were always there checking what we need in our table. They seamlessly organised the birthday celebration of my siblings. I can't thank enough for all of their efforts in making our evening very special.
The Executive Chef and his team will amaze you with all the delightful dishes in the buffet, I had the best sashimi in my life, thank you Chef G!
Definitely, we will back, we found our home in heart of Manila ❤️
Keep shining!

I had such a wonderful stay at Sheraton Manila Bay!
Upon check in, it was Nicole that assisted me. She was so helpful & did me a HUGE favor by helping me with early check-in. This was such a relief after a 13-hour long flight. I was so tired & exhausted, but her help TRULY made the biggest difference & set my stay off on the right foot!
I also had consistently friendly interactions with George, Quirino & James when entering/leaving the hotel. It was nice to be welcomed with kind, welcoming conversations when coming back/leaving the hotel. Jaum was also there, was attentive every time & ALWAYS opened the door for me with a smile! Never failed!
As far as the room, it was very clean & comfortable & Myrna with housekeeping did an amazing job. The restaurant was also pleasant & offered a nice breakfast spread every morning with good variety. The surrounding area has a casino, laundry service, eateries & stores so the hotel is in a super convenient spot.
Lastly, upon checkout, Jade was very polite & efficient & had me on my way to my next destination in no time.
Overall, unmatched hospitality & service throughout my stay. I will definitely return here when I come back to Manila. While the rooms were comfortable & the food was great, it was the STAFF that left a long lasting impression of the hotel for me! Thank you!

Typical Sheraton. It’s located in the middle of Korea town, which can be sketchy in areas, but mostly safe. Quite polluted in this area. Outstanding customer service in all areas of the hotel. I’ve never experienced nicer people.
I wanted to share the excellent experience I had this morning at your front desk.
Abigael, front desk duty manager, assisted me with several matters, including my taxi payment, my Marriott Bonvoy member number, and the entire check-out process.
I travel extensively around the world and have experienced many different levels of customer service, so I know what outstanding service looks like. The service I received from Abigael was truly exceptional — professional, flexible, and customer-oriented.
I have stayed at many other hotels during my business travels, but moving forward, I intend to choose Sheraton Hotels and Resorts whenever possible because of experiences like this.
TLDR; It’s a solid, dependable choice in Malate with world-class staff, even if the hardware is starting to lag behind the software.
As a frequent guest with about 30 nights under my belt over the last two years, I’ve found the Sheraton Manila Bay to be a consistently reliable "home base" in Malate. For business travelers or those who need a predictable, high-quality stay in this part of the city, it remains one of the best value propositions available.
The rooms here are spacious and follow a classic Western layout that is increasingly hard to find in newer, more "compact" developments. The bathrooms are a generous size, and most importantly, the beds are exceptional. I can’t speak for everyone, but I always get a great night's sleep on these mattresses.
However, the property is beginning to show its age. While everything is impeccably maintained—I haven't encountered any obvious wear or damage—the aesthetic is starting to feel a bit tired. The bathrooms, in particular, feel like a step back in time; the showers still use the old-school single heads, and the drains are notoriously slow. It’s a minor annoyance, but one that highlights the need for a modern refresh.
The fitness center is well-equipped with a solid range of weights and cardio machines, perfect for maintaining a routine on the road. The pool area is another highlight—very clean and aesthetically pleasing. A word of caution, though: the hotel is very family-friendly. If the pool is swarming with children, "go into the water at your own risk!" (Iykyk 😅).
On the culinary side, the restaurants are quite good and priced fairly for a hotel of this caliber. The breakfast buffet stands out for its variety, offering plenty of choices regardless of your dietary preferences. My only minor gripe is that the service in the main restaurant has slowed down compared to previous years, though the staff remains incredibly well-meaning.
The real "star" of this hotel isn't the building itself, but the people. The friendly staff across every department is what keeps me coming back. Whether it's the front desk or the cleaning crew, the warmth is genuine.
I haven't personally visited the new Sheraton Club since its recent renovation—as I no longer drink alcohol, the club lounge has lost its primary value for me—but for those who utilize those perks, I'm told the refresh was significant.
Pro-Tip for Arrivals
If you are flying in from NAIA, do yourself a favor and book the hotel’s airport car service. While you can certainly find a cheaper Grab or taxi, the price is comparable to what you’d pay for an Uber from any major North American airport to a downtown hotel. Having a professional greet you at arrivals and handle the logistics after a long-haul flight provides a peace of mind that is well worth the extra few dollars.
Lux hotel everything in one place. Like experiencing Manila culture and crusine nearby and walking along boardwalk.
