Cons:

Right in the middle of a very sketchy area downtown - I was expecting the pearl district to be nice but it's actually quite different just walking a few blocks away. Don't use the valet service - $65/day and they randomly charge you for extra days.

Pros:

great experience! very walkable area, free breakfast, comfy beds. Steven at the valet deserves an extra shout out - he’s helpful, quick, and made it feel like coming “home” when he greeted me at the door!

Will recommend to everyone!
Pros:

Just stayed 1 night on the way to the coast. Amazing hotel with interesting history. Staff was great. Very friendly and helpful.

A great hotel stay starts at the front curb, and Steve and Pierre nailed it. They were highly professional and efficient, but what we appreciated most was how genuinely friendly and welcoming they were. They clearly love what they do and it shows in their excellent service!

Responsive service and great location!
Pros:

Our family enjoyed our stay here! The staff was responsive and helpful! We were so pleased with our housekeeper's work (thank you, Fabiola!!)!

Front desk was working with a new system and they were still helpful and efficient!

The family enjoyed the pool and 2 hot tubs. Three even a game room!

Steven the valet was incredibly friendly and helpful! Actually, all the valets were helpful with nearby recommendations, etc.... we were there 5 months and their service was consistently fantastic!

Won't be returning
Pros:

Rooms are huge, cleaning staff & other support staff we met in the halls & near elevators where extremely polite friendly and seemed like they live their jobs. For one night we wanted to use valet parking $65, which we didn't mind. Valet staff wanted us to use a self parking garage 2 blocks away for $25. We didn't feel comfortable walking late at night in that area. The hiar dryer in the room was absolutely disgusting! It was so dirty & sticky I couldn't bring myself to use it. Just pulling it out of the bag, my hand felt like it had glue on it. Ran out of dishes for breakfast and we had to use saucers as plates, when I was using a disposable coffee cup for juice, I was scolded by a staff member to just wait for clean glasses.. we didn't have time to wait so we are off premises. Definitely didn't feel the Hilton experience we are used to. Will not be staying here again. We checked out @ 10:30am, however out final receipt shows 6:30pm. During check out, nobody was in line & 2 people were working the desk & we had to wait like 4 minutes before being acknowledged, not even a we will be right with you. As a courtesy, we like to hand our key cards to an employee, so they can start let staff know room can be cleaned. The gal who took our key cards said "next time just drop them in the box over there". Barley made eye contact and no smile. Not even a thank you for staying with us!
