We loved our stay. We live in Oregon but coming out to Portland is always a longer stay. Embassy suites was a great stay for us. Our son really enjoyed our suit. Our window had direct view of the Portland sign. We will be definitely coming back thanks a million to our front staff Steve for our animal balloon. 🎈

Entire experience was great. Valet makes things very easy if you have a car. Say “hey” to Steve! Highly recommend the hotel.

Close to everything we wanted.
I've never been to an Embassy Suites like this one. While in a historic building, the rooms are very small. I found an old sock on the floor when I arrived in my room. The thermostat is almost inaccessible and I couldn't adjust it from it's setting of 71°. The shower gel dispenser in the shower was broken off the wall and sitting on a ledge. There is no shuttle to the airport and the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday. At check-in on Sunday, I was told it opened at 5pm.
Would recommend for families. Indoor pool saved us when it was 90s out but chlorine burned my eyes just sitting there.
Onsite restaurant Mothers was excellent. God options and quality food. Free breakfast was good - highlights were the honeydew slices and the omelet station helmed by a real pro.
Staff was super nice and helpful. Folks greeting at the front were attentive. Steven especially went out of his way and bonus he’s a magician. Did closeup magic for us while we waited for our uber.
Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. AC worked well but made a load door-slamming noise when starting up sometimes that woke me up the first night a few times.
They have a sundries room to buy food and medicine and water bottles and stuff. It also has free water with cups.
Neighborhood is sketchy and I didn’t feel safe at night. I wouldn’t park a car on the street there overnight.

We really enjoyed our experience. The valet, especially Steven was so prompt, friendly, and helpful. The complimentary breakfast and evening cocktail hour was a great perk. The arcade and pool gave the kids activities between our exploration in Portland. We would definitely stay again, wonderful family experience.
Steve and valet crew were great! Very helpful and on top it. Room is very clean as always.good convenient free breakfast and love the pool and hot tub. We stay here just about any time we come to Portland.
Front of house valet was exceptional! Very seamless in the ability to drop your vehicle off and also pick it back up when needed. Steve and Blake deserve a raise! They’re awesome!!

The rooms are very spacious and the staff is friendly
The general feeling in the hotel and its surroundings is neglect. The area around the hotel is empty and uncomfortable.
The breakfast and breakfast room is depressing with sticky floors every morning.
In the room I got towels with makeup still on it.
Can’t recommend this hotel.
