Amazing service by Steven and Elliot
We loved the cocktail hour!!! And the free breakfast. My daughter loved that the show on tv was on Disney channel.
Nothing. It was a very pleasant experience.
Location of the hotel is goods.. Staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. The parking at the hotel is only Valet and very expensive for the location. Hotel is very outdated. It needs a major renovation. Rooms are renovated to some degree but still need more renovation. The breakfast area on lower level needs the most updating. It is so dark with a dark navy ceiling. The floor is sticky all of the time. Food provided is ok but isn't in the level of an Embassy Suite. Furniture in the breakfast room are very old. We were there 4 days. # day out of 4 days their only soda fountain was out of service. It was still not working when we left.

The Embassy Suites Portland is a beautiful property but the thing that really made our stay great was the staff. Our first encounter with the valet/magician (Steven) was wonderful. He shared some local history of the building, made balloon animals and was genuinely warm and welcoming.
At the front desk James checked us in and straightened out some mistakes I made in the reservation. After a long day of traveling it was really nice to have someone just sort out the situation with a smile.
Once we got settled in our suite we went down for cocktails and met Daisy. There was already a long line at the bar but Daisy worked through it with fantastic service. She even indulged me with a joke about the tip jar, go team Batman!
Steven the magician. He is amazing, thanks so much! He made our time the absolute best, and memorable! !
Breakfast was good but area was ver busy and seemed understaffed and didn't open until 7:30 am on Saturday - 7 am would be better.

Rooms located very far from each other although booked together, sofa bed was not made up and linen had to be requested and we had to make the bed up ourselves. Breakfast options were only on and there was a lack of cutlery and food
The hotel and the valet service were amazing. Everyone was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond for our family trip. Can't recommend this hotel and the valet service enough.
The guy outside the embassy hotel is probably one the best magicians I seen in Portland absolutely blew my minddddd his name is Steven the magician great guyyyy

Steve at the front entrance was amazing one of the best workers very kind very friendly and helpful showed us where some good places to eat and explore he deserves a promotion and a raise. the room was good very cozy and clean we had a bit of a hiccup with getting our room but I do understand we came a bit early
Steven was truly the best he kept my kids engaged and just totally made my kids enjoy their trip even more

We stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in downtown Portland and Steven and the staff were absolutely incredible. Not only were they all polite they also were very timely. In less than 10 minutes of requesting our vehicle it was ready each and every time. We’ve been staying here atleast once a month the last few months and it’s been great.
This place felt luxurious at an affordable price. The room was set up to be comfortable for families, with a separate living room that was nice for the kids to relax in between outings. The building was clean and staff were all very nice. We appreciated the free drinks/ snacks at night for guests. I'd stay here again next time we're in Portland!
