The bed was very comfortable, the shower had very good water pressure and the air conditioner kept the room very comfortable.
The elevator was broken, which wasn't great since we were on the top floor and had some pretty heavy luggage.
Location was decent. Cost was ok.
Moldy old smell. Everything seemed dirty and old. Elevator’s light was broken was it felt unsafe. Lots of walking up and down stairs.
I had Hilton Honors move us to another hotel. We DID NOT stay here. There is a case file open. Just as we arrived, the Duty Manager and receptionist left the premises leaving several of us checking in standing in line. We waited for 2 1/2 hours! I expect to be reimbursed for their foul-up.
The hotel’s location was good, and the staff was very friendly. However, the sheets on the bed were stained, and the room looked dirty. The location is great, but the hotel needs to improve its cleanliness.
Convenient & clean and great breakfast. Delicious coffee
Breakfast wasn't good. Eggs cold. Not many choices. Waffle mix was out.
Not what I expected very outdated, breakfast area not clean or well managed bedrooms very outdated and in very much need of new facelift would not recommend nor will I be coming back.
Location and breakfast
One mattress was not good and pillows neither
Location and price
Took over 35 mins to check in cause they were short staffed. The new girl did the best she could with no help. Manager was called never seen manager to show up and help her. Had no tv to watch due to no signal. Went and asked about the TV was told it was out and nothing they could do. Breakfast the eggs were so watery and sausage not even cooked all the way.
I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel. We stayed two nights, Saturday and Sunday. The first bad impression was two overflowing trash cans at the front entrance. The desk clerk that handled check-in was alone and the person told all the guests that it was the first day on the job and that that person who was supposed to provide training did not show up for work. The clerk was extremely frustrated and broke down crying several times. To make it clear I’m not blaming the clerk. This was clearly a failure by management. I was also told that the TVs in the entire hotel were not working. They never did work during our entire stay. The overall appearance and condition of the property left a lot to be desired. The manager texted me at least twice asking how my stay was going. I responded about the inoperative TVs. I never received any follow-up from the manager. I’ve stayed at many Hampton Inns throughout the U.S. for many years and never encountered one as bad as this one. STAY AWAY from this one.

Wasn’t able to check in for several hours. I had medication that needed to be refrigerated. The tv didn’t work tried calling down to front desk no answer I had to go down and all she said is we’re trying it will be on soon. Never went on during the whole stay. Took a shower and water never went down. Tried speaking to a manager next day no manager on site. Food was cold.
After you read my review, you may be wondering why the 4 stars. Let me get that out of the way first. The 4 stars are because the staff, especially Jason and Diego at the front desk, are wonderful and so attentive.
Let’s start with Jason. I walked in, and he was with another guest. Instead of ignoring us like some do, he looked up, smiled, and gave a look of "I'll be with you in one moment." This is still such a wonderful skill to have. Yes, we wait our turn and will never complain about how long it takes to help people in front of us. I’m pointing out a skill that seems to be lost: an acknowledgment and a look of "I see you and will be right with you."
Okay, now that you have that. Once it was our turn, I said we’re checking in. He pulled my name and was like, "Okay, welcome diamond member! So glad to have you. Would you like a water? It’s hot outside." I said yes. We were early, and I was like, "Don’t worry if nothing is available; I just wanted to get us checked in and ready so when we come back, it’s done." He said he understood. He got us all checked in and said, "Let me check with housekeeping to see if we have anything ready." He was able to get us in early, which was so sweet and not necessary, but we appreciated it. We asked about food nearby, and he was happy to help. He was simply wonderful.
Diego checked in with us via text and the app and made sure we had everything.
So, hotel review: Personally, this place needs a serious renovation. It’s older and run down. Our room looked dirty. It was cleaned; let me make that clear. Housekeeping works hard. I mean it looked dirty because it’s old, and no matter how much you clean it, it’s not getting clean. The carpet was dirty, so make sure you wear socks or slippers. The walls have tons of stains and marks. The thing that goes under the mattress was stained and dirty. The bedding looked and smelled clean.
The bathroom has mildew and older faucets. We didn’t have body wash or hand soap in the bathroom and had to request it. The refrigerator wasn’t cold, so our drinks were warm.
Breakfast was not what we’re used to. Usually, it’s a larger spread and more options. The juice machine wasn’t working, so only water was available. The waffles are always good, but the other food was overcooked, like the potatoes.
Overall appearance: same as the rooms, just old looking.
Parking: plenty of onsite parking.
The staff were great. Housekeeping was accommodating
The rugs were not vacuumed in the room or the hallway
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at the Hampton Inn in Westminster, Colorado was disappointing from start to finish.
When I checked into my room, there was no bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. The coffee maker was missing a tray, making it impossible to make coffee during my entire three-night stay. There were no hangers in the closet, the TV didn't work properly, and the room had an unpleasant odor.
Customer service was equally disappointing. Their solution was to provide a few hangers and a single bar of soap—but instead of bringing them to the room, I was told I had to come down to the front desk to get them myself. I was also promised a $20 credit on my bill for the inconvenience, but that credit never appeared on my invoice.
After I returned home, I called the hotel hoping they would make things right. Instead, the person I spoke with seemed more interested in making excuses than resolving the issue. He insisted the coffee makers no longer use trays because they now use coffee packets that supposedly work like tea bags. I've stayed in countless hotels and have never encountered that explanation. Rather than acknowledging the poor experience or offering any meaningful resolution, he simply defended the hotel's shortcomings. To top it off, he ended the call by telling me to "have a nice stay"—despite the fact that I had already returned home. That pretty much summed up the level of attention and customer service I received.
Between the poorly maintained room, the lack of basic amenities, the broken promise of compensation, and the complete lack of concern after the fact, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had.
I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel and choosing one of the many other options in the area. There are far better places to stay that actually value their guests.
We have been staying at this hotel for over ten years as we have to visit one of the hospitals in Denver a couple times a year. Initially, it was a nice place to stay with a complimentary breakfast and reasonably clean rooms. Over the years, it steadily went downhill especially as far as cleanliness is concerned. As a Hilton Honors member, we were informed on more than one occasion that because of the situation with the hospital we could book a day or so in advance and then if needed have a late check out by calling them even after 11:00. We tried doing this this last time and were informed by the front desk (on two occasions) that we could still do that and to call them after we had left the hospital. We did that and were told by the lady who answered the phone that this was not the case and the check-out was 11:00. We even tried to check out on their app, which it accepted on the phone. When we received the electronic bill and also on our credit card bill, we had been charged for the last day. After this experience, plus the fact that the rooms have steadily gone downhill as far as cleanliness is concerned, we will never go back to Hampton Inns and especially to this one. The staff needs to be better trained. We were also informed that the ownership has changed, which may be part of the problem.
Everything was dirty. The hotel towels were wet. The shower was not cleaned. The bed was dirty and we didn’t feel homely or clean at all… they also didn’t put any soap in the bathroom (shower soap or hand soap) and when we asked the front desk he gave us body wash for hand soap… this place overall was terrible.
