Nothing it was very dirty
Dirty and front desk dude was rude
The hotel was despicable all around. Would never stay there again. I stayed there once before but this time I thought I was in a different location but it’s all the same. NEVERRRRRRRR AGAINNNNNNNN EVERRRRRR
Everything
Breakfast not good
The location is great.
Slow check in by a grumpy desk clerk. The room had a broken toilet and window shade. Chairs and general appearence were old and worn. The breakfast was the bare minimum. This was the worst room I've ever stayed in.
Room 129 on this property should not be rented. Next visit to the area I will stay at either the Fairfied in or Marriott suites next door to the La Quinita. The rear exit door was broken and did not lock. Terrible property. It should not be on anyones list of recommended properties. I was exausted upon arrival and had already lugged my golf clubs into the room or I would have ended by two night stay. I did report the toilet problem but no action was taken.
I used the toilet in the commen area. Unbelievable.

It was close to crabtree
When i first got to my room. The bed was slept in and towels were used. Went back to front desk to change room. Crackheads roaming the halls. Smell of weed thru out the hotel. Very sketchy ppl and police presence
Front desk staff. I cant remember his name but he was very helpful.
The whole facility could be better. Break it down and start all over again because its horrible. The outside was dirty, the hotel hallways smelled bad. When entering to actual room it was just horrible. From the smell to the stains on the carpet. We didn't touch anything. We really stood in one spot looked around and left right back out.
Location was good, 10-15 minutes from Raleigh center. The Crabtree Mall is 10 minute walking distance from the hotel, plus there is also a walking/biking trail there. Breakfast has fruite, waffles, cereals, yogurt, coffe.
Unfortunately, hotel desperately needs repair/renovations. Repairs have been done as necessary, but overall perseption is : complete gut is needed.
Another note - visitors need to be pushed to take care of their own trash: wrappings and empty packaging get left by the side exits, and we literally observed two people getting into the car parked in the hotel lot, with the passeger simply throwing an empty soda can out of the car. Such behaviour should be fined, it damages the place value.
I liked leaving in the morning! The guy with dreads checked is in and he was super helpful.
Guest smoking marijuana in the hallway.
The toilet ran all night.
The police were called for a disturbance outside (7 cars showed up).
The trash cans were filled and overflowing with garbage.
The carpets in the hallways were grossly stained.
The breakfast was terrible (had to hold down the handle on the toaster). Few and poor options to eat. It was either toast, a waffle, bananas/oranges, coffee, and cereal.
Where to begin…
I’ll start with the positives: the bed linens were crisp and clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. The shower was clean. Water was hot.
Otherwise, this place is in rough shape. It looks fine from the outside, but inside everything feels dated and run down. Dirty carpets in common areas, pot smoke smell in the hallway, stale tobacco smell and sticky carpets in the room, toilet bowl hadn’t been scrubbed, no towel racks to dry used towels, towels had hair on them. Brown splatter on the wall and baseboard in the bathroom. Terrible lighting: lamps that didn’t work, harsh fluorescent light in the bathroom, bed lamps held together with black electrical tape (not kidding). Pool is full of brown water. The cherry on top of this whole experience - which we are still laughing about - is when we went to the vending machine for a sugar fix the M&M package came out soggy from condensation.
The overall vibe here is “we don’t care.” The place probably once had potential, but it seems like management has given up. We stuck it out since we were only here for 2 nights and didn’t spend much time in the hotel, but we will never stay here again. Spend a little extra money if you can and head to the Residence Inn or Courtyard Marriott just a few doors down. You’ll be glad you did.
Disgusting absolutely foul
What I imagine a meth house looks like.
